| [presto] Does (856363) Thinks (CDC9C9) Says (8B3A3A) Hears(EEB4B4) A week since Curse and Jay's relationship has ended. A week since Jay kissed Jev. Jay felt himself flustered over everything lately. His life of loneliness. Everything was hard for him. It sucked being a Krearns. He barely knows how to live on his own, but he's been learning to live without help. The high shelf that he couldn't ever reach, he would have to reach it by himself. No one was there to help him. Sometimes life got hectic and Jay breaks down crying, but right at this moment. He was facing his problem head on. Head on and it was working well. Once when he was younger, he thought life could never be dull and boring, but now, now he knows life is one of the most dull and boring things there is. Dull, boring, and very sad was more of the description. Today, though, would be much different. Today Jay was expecting company. Company of another Krearns. Miles, his younger cousin, was heading over to spend the day with Jay. Jay remembers little to nothing about Miles. So, Jay mainly, was cleaning up the place and making it look neat. Jay moved surfboards and wax and other surfing supplies around the shop. Then made his way to the actual house part of the building. His bedroom was already clean, so was the dining room and the kitchen. The only two rooms left were Davy's room and Mason's room. Jay never opened either of them. They were probably still in the messes that they were like when the brother's died. Jay kept away still. He'd only clean them if he had to, which hopefully, wouldn't be today. A ring from the shop door is the only thing to change his course of action. Jay swiftly moves to check the house. A tablecloth over the dining table. His bedroom cleaned and looking like a hotel room. The shop looking great, Jay moves to notice a older boy that resembles Miles. Jay knew it was Miles, but he hasn't seen him since Jay was younger. Now Jay was almost a man and Miles was a teen. Jay smiled at Miles before wiping the counter of a smudge. Jay spoke normally to Miles, "Hey Miles, nice to see ya. Welcome to the Surf Shack, cuz." Jay looked up at his cousin and smiled again. Jay definitely knew how to fake a smile now after everything. Jay Krearns, the man who can hide emotions. |
