Shy Aubergine is one of the smallest kids in his school. He is always neat and tidy which people tease him for. His light brown hair is always perfectly combed neatly to the side. He has electric blue eyes like most people in district two so he is like most others there in that sense. Even though he has been training as a career for a few years now he still looks scrawny. Shy's eyes are normally always open wide with fear. Barely anyone knows why.
Often Shy can be seen in high up places or climbing. His strength can surprise some people because he looks scrawny. Also, Shy can be seen alone with tears in his electric blue eyes, whispering to himself in his small voice, "Don't cry. I'm a career and have been for four years now. Don't cry." Shy often has tears in his eyes. Especially when he goes into the hallways of his school and people whisper to him as he passes, "Freak. Your a career and you don't like the hunger games?"
Whenever someone mentions the hunger games, or reaping, or anything to do with death or destruction, he runs away and hides. That is what he is really good at, hiding. You can often see him looking around making mental notes on where the best places to hide are.
Shy is kind of handsome in a twelve year old way. A lot of people think of him as that and when someone says that his face gets as red as a tomato from embarrassment and he hides.
Personality:
Shy Aubergine is... well... shy. He is small, timid, and rarely raises his voice above whisper level. He sees mostly everyone as a threat to him so he has learned to hide really well because of that. Most of the time he just likes staying in his hiding spot crying until he has to go. Despite being rather small and timid, Shy is quite strong and he loves to climb. Climbing is one of his favorite things to do.
He hates the Hunger Games even though he is a career and he hates it even more when people say that he is a freak for not wanting to be in them. Shy truly believes that he is the only person in the whole of district two who.dislikes violence and the hunger games. One other thing is that even though he can fight well from his hard hours of career training, he hates violence. Shy actually hates a lot of things. He hates the hunger games, he hates the game prep his family does every year, and he hates the kids at his school.
Shy is one of the few people who realizes the Capitol is brainwashing the citizens of District Two, so he tries not to get brainwashed like everyone else. They say the hunger games is honorable. They say to be the best you have to win the hunger games. When Shy looks at past and present hunger games he realizes that what they say isn't true. He hates it when blood splatters the ground and someone is crowned Victor.

Shy was born into a lavishly rich home in district two. His whole family is ruthless careers. The whole Aubergine family starts career training when they are eight years old, so Shy started his training when he was eight. The career training is vigorous, and his parents keep pressing him to try to volunteer for the games despite him hating them.
When all Aubergines are ten years old they start doing a family training game called the Labyrinth. They play the game by first, randomly joining a team, then they all get placed in the Labyrinth. When they are in the Labyrinth there are many traps and dangers which they have to evade. They also have to hide because there is someone there who is the "Seeker." Shy has been good at this game mostly because he can hide well. He normally just waits the game out.
Often, Shy cuts his career training and practices hiding in the training center. His trainer would look for him everywhere so they could do, "Real career training that will change your miserable life for the better." as his trainer puts it. Often he doesn't listen and instead moves on to practice camouflage while the trainer isn't looking. Once he hid in plain view for a whole training session by painting himself and his clothes while the trainer wasn't looking.
That is what Shy considers to be his training.
