Name: Brilliance Lily Linehand
Age: 17
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 1
Appearance:
Much like her identical twin, Brilliance hosts a cascading waterfall of golden hair. However, unlike her sister, Brilliance has the underneath just a tad darker than the top. She goes for more of a dirty blonde look. What a little rebel. When the twins stand side by side, another difference you'll note is their eye color. If Brilliance didn't strive so much for difference they'd be exactly alike. But the fact that her sister Radiance is always trying to so hard to be like her changes enough. So contacts exist and now a pair of pale green eyes will stare back at you should you glance at this one. Her skin is light and fair, though her eyes are usually played up with bright colors and she prefers to have some sort of stand out.
Like her sister, Brilliance also stands at 5'10" and holds a weight around 136. However unlike Radiance, Brill prefers to stay her height and out of extravagant heels. Though this doesn't mean her clothing isn't that way. Most of the clothing she wears is form fitting, revealing a toned muscular body. This doesn't mean that she's not fragile however. For both twins are built quite thin boned. But Brilliance prefers to not let that show.
Personality:
From the get-go Brilliance is likeable. She's honest and trustworthy. Her smile gives off the honorable feel and many don't have harsh words to say about her. It could be because she's always the first one to offer a handshake or hug, or give out a "hello". Or it could be because she's always where she needs to be and the first to listen rather than break in with her opinion. She's intelligent in that sense, feeling out the situation before jumping blindly into god knows what.
One main thing about Brilliance is the fact that she knows her sister tries to be like her. While others may just see Radiance acting as herself, Brilliance noticed the slow changes. Because she knows her sister is like this, it can cause Brilliance to add some extra risk and unnecessary danger to her life just to see if her sister will follow the strong-suit. Her mother always looks down upon this way Brilliance has acted, but because of that Brilliance finds herself a little harsh. Perhaps it was the growing up with money or having a high class, or perhaps it was the struggle to be unique when her sister so desperately clung to her coattails...maybe a mixture, but it turned Brilliance into one who merges the high road with the low road and does as she pleases. She has no care for what others think of her.
Because of her status Brilliance never settles for anything less than the best. She always asks for more and when presented with an answer, that answer is never good enough. She isn't one to accept 'just because', and she will never stop asking 'why?'. Romance in her life is unlikely because she is one to be picky and analytical as are many paths closed to her because of her inability to settle. She's quite adamant and is always up for a good debate.
History:
Born the second twin to Price and Jewel Linehan, Brilliance however shines as the first. As they were young they were always dressed alike. Both given equal time with parents and never separated for more than a moment. The twins were to be treated equally when they were unable to walk or talk. Though as they aged it was clear that one would pull away from the other. It was when they each began to spend more time with one parents over the other that their individual natures came out...or at least Brilliance's did.
Spending time with her father more, brought Brilliance to a world of constant work. She was a hard worker from the start. Always lending a helping hand and jumping to the task even when not asked. Little did she know that by instilling this in her, her father was starting to carve her into a mini Career. Brilliance did what was asked without it being spoken. She was pushed to her limits and with each breakdown she'd have...she'd find more of herself. The bond to her sister was slowly being broken. She no longer wanted to be mistaken as Radiance for that fact that Brill was now better than her. So she began to change and morph. And it wasn't before long that this worked out in her favor.
A Career. She had been accepted into it, and she knew that it would disappoint her father should she not work towards it. Many children dreamed of having the extra training, and Brilliance was in no way going to turn it down. Although it meant her sister would most likely follow. However that didn't phase Brill, nothing did when it came to doing something for herself and her father. If it put her sister in danger, that was her own fault. So now here she stands, awaiting her chance to become the next victor.
