THE PETROVAS & THE NETHERYS
 Two closely related families came to the attention of the people of District Five: the Petrova and the Nethery family. Both are rich because they own many powerplants in the district. They are very prestigious, and tend to keep to themselves because they are both hiding something. Both families possess a secret that should never be revealed to District Five. Aibrean Petrova and Fionna Nethery are sisters. They used to be Aibrean and Fionna McCrae. The McCrae children all had something wrong with them mentally. Aibrean was a pyromaniac and a kleptomaniac and had so many more manias, and Fionna had numerous phobias, so many to the point that it was unhealthy. It seems to be genetic, and when Aibrean and Fionna married and had children, it was passed down to their offspring. The Nethery children all have a phobia. The Petrova children all have a mania. Some are dangerous and life-threatening, but some are harmless. The two families hide this behind closed doors, as they see it as a disgrace. Being prestigious families with a reputation to uphold, they cannot have anything that may be seen as strange to the public eye. They fear that if they make one wrong move, the entire family will come crumbling down. The parents of both families do not hang around much because they are busy, and let their work consume their time. The children go off on their own. Grandmother Petrova watches over the Petrova children, and Nanny Krista takes care of the Nethery children. If you read this far, put "I lost my marbles" in the other section of your application. Although the Petrovas and Netherys as first cousins to each other, they do not interact often. Aibrean and Fionna visit each other sometimes, but the children almost never converse or even glance at their cousins. Neither families are viewed as odd, although they keep to themselves. In fact, most of the children of both families are popular in school, but their sister/first Veselin Petrova is the "queen" and tops them all. The children keep their manias/phobias hidden from the public, and no one suspects, although there have been . . . incidents before, especially in school. Yes, no one suspects the two families, but how long can they keep their secret? THE GENETICS Yes, there are genetics, because I am keeping this realistic. The family members' names are already set, but you get to choose the appearance! The Petrova genetics: Red, medium to dark brown with red highlights, or medium to dark brown hair. Brown, green, or hazel eyes. Fair, medium, or olive skin. The Nethery genetics: Red, red with blonde highlights, strawberry blonde, or dark to very light blonde hair. Blue, green, or hazel eyes. Fair or medium skin. It is required that this is followed. THE FAMILY You cannot change the age, names, or genders. The Petrova Children [2/7]: Petra Petrova: Mythomaniac || Eighteen || Female || Reasons Mythomania is the compulsion to lie. Spinning her web of lies, every thread is calculated. Every lie is believable with her unreadable mask and her deceiving words flowing from her mouth. Her web is meant to catch her prey, mindless and smart flies alike. To tell the truth is harder than to pretend she cares about the lowlifes in any district lower than five. Veselin Petrova: Kleptomaniac || Seventeen || Female || Briar Kleptomania is the compulsion to steal. She is the queen, and she rules her kingdom with fire and ice. Veselin climbed her way to the top of the social ladder, gaining many enemies on the way up, by manipulating people with her smooth, coaxing words. She weaves a web of lies and promises, and ends up cutting the fragile web with her malevolence. Her perfectly manicured fingers are "sticky" and pick up every object that she takes a liking to, from jewelry to a ceramic cup. Violeta Petrova: Iomaniac || Fourteen || Female || Player Iomania is the obsession with poison. Description here. Nevena Petrova: No mania || Thirteen || Female || Player Nevena is adopted, so you do not have to follow genetics for her. She has no mania. Description here. Dessislava Petrova: Pyromaniac || Twelve || Female || Player Pyromania is the obsession with fire/playing with fire. Description here. Ivaylo Petrova: Ecdemomaniac || Eleven || Male || Player Ecdemomania is the strong urge to wander. Description here. The Nethery Children [3/5]: Caitriona Nethery: Claustrophobic || Eighteen || Female || Paris Claustrophobia is the fear of closed in spaces. Caitriona can never be out in large groups, out of fear or being jostled or forced into a corner. She can hardly even stand being touched by anyone, even her own family. At night, her dreams are haunted by being trapped, physically as well as mentally, and even in her waking hours, she feels like everything is falling in on her. Trapped. Ciaran Nethery: Noctiphobic || Seventeen || Male || Ella Noctiphobia is the fear of the night. All that's scary lives in the night. The moon, demons, darkness, murderers. The scariest, though, is what everyone thinks are so beautiful. The stars. That's where the demons come out. When a person dies, they get their own star. When we, the people, can see the stars, they come out. The ghosts. I try and avoid the night, at all costs. As soon as the sun comes down, my heart starts racing faster then a speeding bullet and I run. Away from the windows and outside. Although, I'm popular. Nobody can ever understand why I never come to the 'hottest parties,' and I won't tell them. They're all at night. My worst fear is when everything happens. Seamus Nethery: Hydrophobic || Sixteen || Male || Player Hydrophobia is the fear of water. Description here. Saoirse Nethery: Acrophobic || Fifteen || Female || Briar Acrophobia is the fear of heights. Description here. Mona Nethery: Xenophobic || Fourteen || Female || Player Xenophobia is the fear of closed in spaces. Description here. Please keep in mind that these manias and phobias that these characters have is not minor. It severely affects their lives to the point that if they were to show their mania/phobia, they would be classified as insane. For example, Mona Nethery is so terrified of strangers, she will not approach any of them. Whenever one talks to her or comes near her, she will have the urge to scream and run away, but usually she trembles and hyperventilates until the stranger goes away. Dessislava Petrova is so obsessed with fire, she has hurt herself multiple times and has to cover her burns with clothing. She is absolutely crazy about fire. She loves it, even though it hurts her. Some people actually do have some of these phobias, such as hydrophobia and claustrophobia, however the Netherys have a very severe case of their phobia. The same applies to the Petrovas.
