the {judge} and the {executioner} // Indigo Tornhell oneshot

Stars dance across the sky as a gentle breeze floats through the air piercing the skin upon my neck as the hair rises high into the sky. Anger surges through my veins as red flashes before my eyes. A knife clenched tight in my hands as my feet carry me gently across the ground. My eyes scan the scene staring across one person to the next wondering why so many people are standing near the alley I live in. Usually, I'll be standing hidden in the alley prepared to destroy anyone who dares to enter, but today is different. Today, my goal has changed, and it's time my life moves forward forever. The man who created me has never once been in my life, and today won't be any different. He'll step into my view as a personal request. He'll explain why he did what he did, and how he never cared about my mother or me, and his answer will never be good enough. He left when it matter the most, and I sure as hell ain't going to let him forget it. I'm the judge, and I will control his sentence.

The knife slides into my sleeve as my hands move the hood over my face hiding my eyes from anyone near by. Nobody needs to see them, nobody needs to know what's happening. Nobody will ever tell me what I'm capable of doing. How the damn fool found out I'm still alive is beyond my wildest imagination, and how he knows my name will never be clear, but it won't stop me especially if he begs for mercy. Nobody gives mercy in the world as nobody loves anyone. Who cares if the Capitol says they love us, anyone with brains will know differently- just as I know my biological father doesn't love me. Nobody loves or cares about me- it's a lonely world trapped where nobody cares. It's a horrible situation, yet there's a roof over my head and food on my plate. That's all I need- it's all anyone needs. my face remains clear of emotions as my feet carry me steadily across the park beyond the edge leading into the next alley. It doesn't matter if he's not here because I'll find him- he can't hide.

Nobody is safe from me, especially those who aren't worthy of even being alive. Nobody matters in a world where life has gone to shit- not even myself. Everyone is another number in the game of death as one will live and the others will die. One day, my life will end, and it'll be the best feeling in the world as my feet step into the afterlife prepared for slaughter. Butchering them like a cow carving my name into their bodies with my knife is the only way someone should ever die. The judge sits on the thorn waiting for the perfect moment naming those unworthy of living, and I am the judge. Nobody will pass through if they aren't worthy; I'll make sure the execution is the best thing ever. Watching citizens one by one fall away flying into the sky gone forever. He will not be any different. His life isn't worth living- he abandon my mom, he abandon me, and he wants mercy. Well, I have two words for him. 'Fuck you.' He's an idiot, and if he believes for a moment, he's safe- he's wrong.

Another alley sits before my eyes as a cold laugh flows silently from my lips piercing the air around me. He better show otherwise I'll hunt him down- it's against anything I've ever been taught. Snake always said nobody should wait when a time is set. They must show up at the designated time. Not a moment sooner, and not a moment late. "It shows respect. You set a time, you better show up. They better show up, or the judge is prepared to strike." Respect has nothing to do with it. Respect is just a bunch of bullshit prepped for disposal. Why people respect one another is beyond my wildest imagination, but it doesn't mean anything. Emotions are for the weak- I don't even know what emotions are. It's just a blank slate living inside me, and I dare people to tell me how I should feel. I have no reasons to deal with the idiots lurking beyond the corners. It's just a matter of time before one dies, and I'll make sure it's the best moment of every single day. Another life gone-trapped in the abyss.

"Indigo Tornhell, you've kept me waiting."

His angry voice rings through the opening of the alley, and my eyes quickly turn towards his direction. My hand slides around the handle of my knife as my feet carry me towards him. He expresses anger stating I've kept him waiting, but it's still early. I never show up early, and I sure as hell will never show up late. My tongue runs quickly across the front of my teeth as a hand slowly raises my hood off my head showing my eyes. Dark consumes my soul as he stares into the endless holes into the abyss trapped within my body. My feet move towards him, slowly, my eyes never leaving his. It's a wonder he's still living messing around in the alley's. I know them better than anyone else around as this is my turf- where I live, where I work. A slow breath passes deep into my lungs spreading quickly through my body one step at a time. When I'm standing a few feet in front of him, a large grin laced with malice spreads wide across my face. My head tilts towards the right as I glare deep into his eyes.

"How dare you talk to me!? You don't know me. You aren't deserving to stand before me. You're eyes aren't worthy of meeting mine. You left me. You left her. You killed her. You made sure she died. You aren't worthy of life! I hope you're ready for disposal, and my name is not Indigo." Words laced with an icy chill passes through my lips flying deep into the sky as he stares at me. Laughter erupts from deep within as his body shakes in fear- I can see it in his eyes. He raises his hands in front of his face stuttering as his words fail him. A tiny coward standing before me begging for mercy, yet he's undeserving just like everyone else. I turn my gaze away bouncing off the walls of the alley not caring if anyone is lurking near by- not that it matters as I'll only dispose of them as well. Nobody should be stupid enough to cross the lines, and if they are, fuck them, let them die the worse deaths possible, and I'll be the executioner. I'll swing the axe ending it all. Fear doesn't exist in a world trapped below the humanity of evil.

"B-b-but son-"

"Don't talk to me you filthy piece of trash. Don't say a word."

He slowly moves backwards away from his son, but it won't do him any good. I'm stronger than him, more prepared, ready to kill- it's all I know anymore. It's all Snake showed me, he's my father, not this piece of shit standing here before me now. Snake took me in, he fed me, he gave me a roof over my head, but he never told me anything about my life before. I'll never know what she looked like, but it doesn't matter, but staring into the eyes of the fool shows me he looks so much alike. His eyes are my eyes, but he'll be dead before any more words escape into the opening. He's no father of mine. My hand slides around the knife bringing it into the opening. Loud roars of laughter flows from my lips as I move it carefully in front of him piece after piece. He takes a step backwards, and it's on. It's time for his fate to be decided, and it's not one he's going to like. The judge has made his decision and it's time for his execution.

"S-son I-I- I love-"

The world grows black as his words cut off before screams fly into the air, and it quickly returns to silence and then there's nothing.
