Hey can i make a hunger games rp over a thread here? like i hate waiting for the next hunger games when don't get reaped in haha It wouldn't be very serious just a little role playing mainly but i was wondering if its alowed?? i mainly want to use it to practise more with my rp skills

oh by the way..., what does it all mean with the AU rp?? does a hunger games one fit in that category??? won't bother you again.

Hi Electrix! As far as I am aware, we do not allow games outside of the official games. The staff put a lot of hard work into them and they do them frequently enough that most people get the chance to be in them at one point. You are allowed to fight for fun, however, in this board. This could give you good practice for being in the games because it will help you get used to the combat system. Go to this thread for damage references. Please note that the codes provided there are not up to date, and to use the combat system you should use the code [*roll=weapon*] without the asterisks.

I am sure if you asked in the cbox, people would be interested in practicing combat with you.

As for roleplaying, you are welcome to make however many characters you think you can handle. Then once any of them are accepted, write in the corresponding boards. If you start an [open] thread, somebody will often join it. You can ask in the cbox as well. This should give you plenty of practice! You may also ask for tutoring in the tutoring board. Here are the rules and here is the board you can post in. Just start a thread asking for tutoring, give the things you want to work on, and supply a link to a thread that exemplifies this and you will be golden. If a tutor does not respond to your thread after a while, feel free to private message one or ask in the cbox. Just ask nicely and you will be fine.

AU roleplay are simply roleplays that do not actually exist in the universe. So, for example, if I wanted to use my dead tribute Beatrice Birch again, I would roleplay her in the AU board. Or, say my District Two character, Terry Birch wants to talk to his long-lost brother in District One Nathaniel Graives, then I may start an AU thread for that.

I hope this helps. I am not 100% sure on the Hunger Games thing, but I am pretty sure that is how we have done it in the past. Does anyone else have anything to add? Also, feel free to ask more questions. The only way you are going to learn is if you ask your questions. Also, welcome to the site.

Meghan is completely correct when she says that we do not allow other Hunger Games to be run. We do put a lot of effort into the ones we run periodically, Aside from that if we had everyone creating their own little hunger games it would defeat the point of the entire site, of having a site run hunger games that we can all participate in one way or another.
