Appearance: I have an average build, and I’m 5’7 ½”, a little tall, but nothing special about me there, other than the fact that I’m fast and flexible. My figure is a bit curvaceous. My arms and legs, with my fair skin, would be almost pretty if they weren’t covered in tiny little scars from all but living in the trees I was constantly climbing as a kid.
I have a diamond face with too-thin pink lips and a big forehead. I have nice brown eyes with long lashes and naturally well shaped eyebrows, but overall, my face is just too plain. I wish I had dimples or freckles or even a mole. Anything to add character to my pretty-but-boring face.
Long white-blonde locks fall down to my butt if I let them, which is why my hair is usually tied up in a neat dancer’s bun.
I like to wear dark clothes to conceal as much of the dirt on my rarely-washed attire as possible. I have a peacock feather that I love to wear tucked into my tight bun.
Personality: I know that sometimes my moral system gets in the way of what other people want, especially when it concerns friends and family. I just have a different way of doing things, I guess. I don’t lie. I can’t lie. I just wouldn’t feel right about it.
On the other hand, once you’re my friend, you’ll always be my friend unless you break my trust. (In that case, you’re off the list never to be considered again.) I’m super loyal to my inner circle and I would never do anything to hurt them. It may be hard to get close to me at first, but as soon as you are you have a friend who’d stick with you until the death. With me, you never have to worry about being stabbed in the back because I’m always completely forward with everything, to the point of being insultingly blunt, with the exception of secrets. If I’m sworn to secrecy, you’d better believe I’ll take your secret to the grave.
I can often be heard humming or singing. That’s how I express my emotions, through music. My mother and father both have beautiful voices, so I guess it’s a trait that runs in the family.
I’ve been in plenty of romantic relationships, but none serious. And, honestly, I’m not looking for anything serious. Why buy the merch when you can just window shop? I love flirting with boys, but I never let things go too far. It’s important to me that both involved parties are taking things lightly, because I don’t want to hurt anyone any more than I want to get hurt.
History: I’m really close to both of my parents, seeing as I’m an only child. For a family living in the poorest district of Panem, we don’t fare too badly. Sure, every time we buy food the likelihood of me being in the Games goes up, but at least we can afford to put food on our table.
Mom and Dad both work in the coal mines, and I join them when I’m not in school. Even working together makes us a closer family.
