we're up to no good }} Sigil x Edgar Blitz

They told me to kill myself today. Their harsh voices pounding at the innards of my skull with tiny fists. Attempting to expose my brain like the many projects which lay on my brother's table. I'd only laughed, dismissed their attempts with a shrug of my shoulder. (Maybe another day, I've got to go fuck shit up.) They were quite satisfied with my reply as, it was one of their hobbies as well. It's so nice when we can come to an agreement, at least a temporary one. Though, regrettably, it means that I will have little input from my... friends upstairs.  Disappointing really, as they usually have deliciously devious ideas. Admittedly for my own destruction, but you can't be picky in a situation like this.

This wretched suit pulls at my waist. threads like fine claws against my skin. Before I'd ripred save discovered my Blackmore heritage, I'd never so much as looked at one of these things. They were for the blessed many, and we the cursed few. Struggling scum at the bottom of olympus. I do wonder how mother is, she always lingers at the back of my mind, pulling at my heartstrings. She'll always mean more to me than these Blackmores. My reason for putting up with men crazier than I. This, coming from a madman. It'd be almost laughable, if it wasn't true.  

I've been told to look handsome. I'm not quite sure what that means, but I've washed my hands at least twice. I've even added a bright silver ring I found somewhere on the street. I don't wear it often, 'cause it turns my finger green. Though a green finger could be handsome, right? 

Nonetheless, I'm ready. Knuckles wrack against the door which stands between me and the other half. "Sigil, come in!" Even his voice calms me, so familiar to my own. Like a man on the lamb, I hurry into the room careful to shut the door behind me. A smile slowly blossoms upon my lips, one that only appears when pure havoc is bound to be reaped. "So, what's the plan?"

"Brother dear, you are a genius." The weight of his words managing to break past my thick skull almost instantly. They deserve it, most definitely. To fight and claw at lives which they have never once appreciated. For we could pin our wrong doings on a family already falling from grace. What's the saying? Two frogs with one stick? At least something along those lines. Words tend to lose themselves within my mind, becoming a jumbled haze of phrases and letters I knew little about. If my head wasn't nailed to my shoulders, I'd have lost it long ago. And... what if I forget my shoulders one day? 

This is why I leave the thinking to my brother. I can't even remember why we are heading over to the Birch's. A feeble attempt to mend the fraying ties between the two families? Perhaps it's a contest to see who could act the most pretentious. A tie if i ever saw one-

Speaking of ties, I must remember to put one on before I leave. It was far too tight against my neck, and I'll be damned if it wasn't slowly wrapping it's silken body tighter against my throat. Pardon my language, but fuck that. I hav enough to deal with, let alone cloth snakes set on my destruction. So, nevermind, I will not be wearing a tie to this event. Or ever. 

"How much do you think we can take? Mum is bound to be running low on food or... something." My brow furrows. As fun as it was to ruin lives, I could never forget our reason for doing so. Mother mustn't be forgotten. She'll live forever, I'll make sure of that. A goddess in her own right, who gave us life and in turn, hers is the one we save. I make my way to a wire chair, sinking into it's hard frame. My hand finds it's way to my scalp, anxiously picking at the voices within.
