Chantilly is somewhat tall for her age (5'1"), but despite that she is still a child and weighs slightly less than a hundred pounds (93 lbs.). Her limbs are a little longer than usual and she is known for her lanky build, which she has been teased about in the past. Chantilly has light olive skin and straight dark brown hair, the latter she enjoys braiding or styling. She tends to keep her hair in twin braids, with long bangs that cover her rather bushy eyebrows.

Chantilly is fairly pretty, with a heart-shaped face and generally rounded features. Her droopy eyes are mostly a bright shade of green, with flecks of brown near her pupils. She has a button nose that sits above full lips, which are naturally light pink in color. She does have some features she dislikes greatly, including how her ears tend to stick out from her head. While she does like dressing up, she tends to keep her wardrobe simple; plain dresses are a staple of her outfit, and she likes to wear hats and leggings in colder weather. Most of her clothing is in muted cool colors.

Personality:

First and foremost, she is a very imaginative and creative girl. Chantilly can usually be found pacing around wherever she is and daydreaming in her free time, often of a better or comfortable life. She is fairly hedonistic and envious of the Capitol life, often bemoaning her stance and being whiny in general. However, this daydreaming makes her inattentive and spacey, which most people find annoying at best.

Chantilly is a neat and orderly girl, and works hard to keep her daydreaming confined to her downtime. Whatever she works on, she takes it seriously and makes sure to get it 'just right'. She is somewhat insecure about her skills and she usually worries about every detail. A lot of people would describe Chantilly as worrisome, though she does well at keeping it inwards.

While she is hard-working, she isn't no-nonsense. Chantilly can be a caring person, and is usually fair and casual about a lot of things. She'll even downplay her own worries in the presence of others, brushing them off as 'not a big deal'. Overall she is a very friendly person and a pleasure to interact, even if her attention tends to drift off from time to time.

History:

Chantilly Logan Greene was born the youngest of five children to Adaleen and Blake Greene, respectively a seamstress and teacher. She and her siblings were all born three to four years apart, and out of the five of them only two of her siblings still live at home: her brother Ventile (eighteen) and sister Bengaline (fourteen). Her older brother Calico (twenty-one) is working at the factories and trying to live on his own as Chiffon (twenty-five) is living with his wife and hopes to start a family of his own. The Greene family isn't very well-off, with money being tight and they can't be very indulgent for this exact reason.

This is what made Chantilly a problem child of sorts: she'd complain about every burden and hardship they faced. She was a fussy baby, often crying at the smallest provocation, from slight hunger to sibling antics. Chantilly began envying life in the Capitol and the upper districts, who were obviously more well-off than her. However, she is well aware that hard work pays off, and has worked hard in everything as a result. She still has a sort of childish hope that one day she'll be able to live affluently, whether it be in the Capitol or elsewhere.

In the mean time, Chantilly has developed an interest in fashion, fueled by her idolization of the Capitol and their lifestyle. While she can't afford the looks, she makes do with the little she has. She likes to dress cutely in her limited amount of dresses and without much to do in the clothing department she has focused more on her hair than anything. Chantilly is rather quick and precise with her hands, and is fond of braiding hair.
