Antonio "Tony" Vacanti D10 (completed)

Antonio wears a natural, tight fitting suit, that accentuates all his features and muscles, over top of his suit he wears a long trench coat style coat. Antonio's has dark brown hair that blends into the over all look that he wishes to achieve, which is a blended in but perfect style. Though Antonio spends hours in front of a mirror getting his hair just perfect you almost could not tell that anything is in his hair, as the chemicals he does put in it are well massaged in to achieve a natural, weightless look to it. Antonio's skin is a dark tanned color, which works well with him blending into his surroundings. Antonio wears cowboy boots.

Antonio walks with a light but determined air. He stands 5'10, and weighs 260lbs. There is not a place on his body that does not have a visible muscle. He is strong and stoutly built. Though he works out a lot, he maintains his body so that he is not overly bulky or extremely skinny. His body is 'built to perfection', as he is so fond of saying, and is completely, 100% proportional.



Even though he works to perfect his appearance there are a few things that are slightly off about him, one of the reasons he obsesses about his appearance is because he gets bad outbreaks of acne all over his body. Which he works over time to get rid of and also to prevent. He also has a large scar on his knee where he fell off a horse when he was a boy, that he does everything he can to lighten up. His teeth are also stained with a tint of yellow from years of tobacco use.

Antonio's honor is of a noble sort. His pride is rooted deeply in being able to take care of his family. Above all Antonio is a family man; he will do anything for the safety and survival for his family.



There are things that really upset Antonio; Beocause Antonio is a rancher he gets very upset when someone messes with his cattle, especially when one of them get hurt because of it. The other thing that angers Antonio is sitting around and thinking too much, because he had to leave his family, in such a hurry. He mourns over losing them and his grief and sadness comes out as pure anger at himself.



Antonio at one time had a lot of self-esteem and worked hard to keep it high, by seeing the bright side of situations. Since losing his family though he has changed and is more solume and prefers to be left alone to battle the memories he most deeply regrets. Though instead of fighting them when they come upon him and his memory he struggles with long term depression which lowers his self-esteem even more.

Antonio was born 45 years ago to Carlo and Anne Vacanti, Carlo and Anne did the best they could to raise Antonio, teaching him the value of family and the pride of hunting and providing food for himself and his family. He learned the art of cattle raising and running a ranch.

His years 12 - 18 he spent in fear of the Reaping, he knew very little about fighting, oh he could wrestle a wolf or stab it with a knife with pretty decent accuracy, but he just knew there was no way he could win the Games, but his drive to take care of his family drew him to have severe risk of it almost every year. Luckily he was never chosen and on his 18th year he started thinking about moving on in life.

That is when his life changed he met who he considered the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, her beauty was not skin deep, but her personality, passion and desires are what drove Antonio to fall in love with her. Celia changed his life and began to think of ways he could provide for his own family.

Antonio and his father worked together to build a house and when the time was right Antonio asked Celia to marry him, when she said yes, he was thrilled. Not long afterwards the happy couple were pregnant with twins. Antonio was the proudest father ever, but tragedy was about to strike, and it would be an act Antonio would regret to this day.

Antonio got a one time job of cleaning the mayors office about 27 years ago. He found a note in a desk, he read it and immediately knew he should not have. He copied the paper and left the original in the office thinking it might come in handy.

Little did Antonio realize that he would become a hunted man, he hid the book he placed the papers in. The floor boards of his house made an excellent hiding place, for his information, he never returned to the floorboard and he had hoped it would seal shut. When he realized they would not stop, he made it public to the town that he was leaving and fled the city and his family in an effort to protect them.

It was not long before they caught up with him though and he spent several months in a Detention Center. He was then released back to District 10 after they did not find anything. Now he felt free of that information and the book. Though he was still closely supervised he spent a long time making a life for himself in the home that he had made before the detention facility.

He bought a ranch and began his work again, breeding and raising cattle. His life was a decent one until his daughter Larae was Reaped. When she died in the 58th Hunger Games, he decided he would finally go home, the only problem was after so long he could not sure they were in the same location, so he has searched for ten years to find whatever might be left of his family.
