"Pfft.. I doubt that any boys has been falling head over heels around here.."Barret laughed and shook his head. "You are blind my dear. Most of the guys talk about you at the mines and hob. They don't have the guts to talk to you but most of them find you attractive. My friend thinks redheads are sexy." he smiled at her and watched the trees. He sighed lightly and looked at her as she spoke again. 
"Yeah, it's amazing what a rolemodel you seem to have been for him. I think it's different having your own child though. That's like, a part of you in another person. Also, it sounds scary and weird but I think it's just amazing being pregnant. I mean, creating an own human. It's so amazing.. I must sound crazy to you now." he nodded to her. "Its very different I know but half the time I'll be treating him like I'm his father, when normally brothers are suppose to have fun and tease each other." he looked at hurt with a goofy smile. "No not crazy.....maybe I'm thinking you smart and wonderful for thinking that but not crazy. Pregnancy is a wonderful thing and yes it isn't scary but woman should enjoy it not be scared of it. I do think it is cool and amazing to have something that is apart of you in the world" he smiled at her and poked her side playfully. "So basically you can't wait to be pregnant?"

"What do you think then?" Barret looked at her, thinking for a bit as they locked eyes. He soon cleared his throat. "What do I think? You want to know now?" he smiled playfully at her then spoke again. "I do find you attractive, funny, cute. I like you, I like you a lot." he watched her for a moment before letting his eyes wonder around the meadow. 
"I know it sounds crazy, but I mean I'll probably just get a job, a husband then go right for it you know. It's not like I have so many other important goals in my life" he looked at her and nodded. Sighing softly, "I'd probably make my wife slightly angry if I told her I didn't want her working. I mean not in the mines that is. I'd fined another job for her just not in there. Cause if I do have kids and I'm in the mine and it collapses at least they have there mother." he gave a laugh as he thought about something. "Mara and Iwhen we were younger use to say we'd marry each other. Mostly cause I didn't like anyone nor did she and we both didn't want to get married to random people. We both had are mind set on things which seemed perfect. I am in one bedroom she's in the next." he laughed again. "Silly." he mumbled to himself. 

"You just made the biggest misstake of your life. You see, i'm somewhat of a tickling master" he smirked and looked up at her. "I happened to be not so ticklish." he spoke playfully and grabbed her wrist. Pinning her to the ground he smirked down at her. "So Miss Fox what is your next move?" he held her wrist lightly but enough to keep her were she was. If she tried hard enough she probably could escape.

"Okay good." he smiled at her softly. "I've been with a married man once." at this he looked at her. He wasn't sure how he felt about her being with other men. It set something off in his head, an odd feeling. Thinking for a moment it was jealousy, he scolded himself in his head for even thinking such things but still....he looked at her. "Did you love him?" It was a sudden question that he wasn't expecting from himself, he looked at her then at his hands. "You do not need to answer that." His cheeks went red and he tried to shake it off.

"But you work in the mines yourself? Why wouldn't you allow your wife the same options as you yourself are doing?" Barret gave a sigh and looked at her. "I know what you are thinking," he gave a small chuckled. "I have no problem with my wife working or any woman working. I don't want her to have the same option cause I don't want her to be endangered. I don't want to be afraid that I might come out and she won't. If I have kids I'd like them to have a mother, I'd find her work if she desperately wanted to work but I wouldn't want her working in the mines."

"I love the nights here in the meadow. Sometimes, I bring Reef out here and sleep in his fur for hours" He smiled as her fingers went through his hair. He laid on his side and leaned on his elbow so he could look at her. "It seems nice to sleep out here, I've slept out here when I was a young boy but now I don't. I'm not sure why." he watched her carefully.

"Wouldn't you like your kids to have a father though?" He looked at her and sighed. "Yes but....A child needs both parents equally, they both should have them and they shouldn't loose one. I would prefer that my life be taken over my family. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if my wife ended up dying in the mines and I couldn't save her or even warn her. Now if she was a stubborn woman I'd let her but she would be in my site at all times." he looked at her, watching he movement
 Playing with the grass he would look at her, he wanted to touch her but he wouldn't do so with out her letting him.
"Whats your family situation? With your parents I mean. You haven't really mentioned them" he cringed a  bit as she spoke. "My mother fell ill and died when I was 13 and soon after my father was a selfish drunk and killed himself." he really didn't want to go into dire detail so he didn't. He might tell her more later but at the moment he didn't want to. "You wanna stay the night? Tonight?" He looked at her smiling. "Stay the night here? With you? I'd love to." he smiled at her. "But its probably going to be cold....." he looked around then at her. "If you want you could come to my place? But content about staying here if thats what you want."

Barret would smile at the dog lightly and watched her for a minute. Letting her hand go with ease as the dog came. He sighed and smiled at what she said. "He does seem to doesn't he." as she spoke he gave a soft laugh. "Yeah, it is rather cold.. But the nights are okay.. I guess there is no good reason to start potential issues with the peacekeepers" he nodded in agreement. "Yes very true, they get on my nerves overtime they open their mouths to tell me off about something. Kind of like my boss." he gave another chuckle. Barret's eyes would follow her as she stood, smiling he took her hand. "So, lead the way big guy." Standing he would keep hold of her hand and start walking out of the meadow. "I'm not that fat am I?" 

He would keep walking, watching as the orange glow started to fade away as the sunset. Walking up the steps onto the small porch he would open the door. There was a lamp on in the living room and he looked at his brother with a smile who was sitting on the couch. "Hey! Your home-" he paused as he saw Olive. "Oh, she's staying the night?" Barret closed the door and smiled. "Yes she is buddy."   Meldon nodded and smiled at her softly.
