Barret sighed as he walked home, he got off work early today and decided that he should go see what was at the hob. He hoped his brother was home by now if not he at least hoped he'd see him on his way to the hob to tell the boy to get home. He just didn't like him being out when it got too late it scared him for stupid reasons.
Barret looked at his hands and sighed. He really needed to wash up, Maybe I should do that now then go to the hob….. He thought as he kept walking then shrugged it off. He could just do it later it was not like anybody was going to care and he could care less what people thought of him. He wore what he called "work" cloths, they were a lot older and were his dads. Black pants and a grey button up shirt, nothing flashy. He soon untucked his shirt as he walked into the hob, giving himself a messier look. He had to get some bolts for the stove, the ones on the old stove were rusted and starting to fall off and if he didn't fix it soon he wasn't going to be able to cook.
Barret smiled softly as he saw Meldon, "Meldon!" he called to his brother who was with a friend. The younger boy who looked exactly like his brother walked towards him. "Hey." Barret looked at him and smirked, "Go home would ya? I don't want you out here too long." Barret started walking towards a man who he definitely knew had what he wanted. Meldon fallowed him, "But….but can I stay at my friend for a bit there only a few houses down from us." Barret sighed, "Yes." he grumbled, it was hard to say no to him and he didn't care as long as he wasn't into trouble. The boy quickly ran off with a smirk on his face and Barret stopped by the old mans small table and smiled at him.
Chatting with the man for a bit and trying to figure out what bolts would fit the stove he finally was ready to get out and go home. Turning around he wasn't really looking where he was going and slightly hit someone who was close to the same height but not as big as he was. "Oh crap sorry. I seem to think the grounds more important to look at then where I'm going." He said softly and looked at the red head girl, he had see her around the seams before. She was hard to miss and stood out like a sore thumb with her bright hair colour thats for sure, plus most of the guys liked to talk about her. Barret looked at her with a nervous smile, he was so stupid! He wanted to leave but he felt bad for hitting her and he wasn't just going to leave and be rude. Thank god I didn't knock her over.
