Name: Pru Serket. (Serket= A play on circuit. Get it? :3)
Age: 12 years old.
Gender: Female.
District: District Three.
Appearance:
Personality:
Pru can be a bit of a know-it-all, making her difficult to get along with. She often uses her intellectual superiority to best people, and becomes very sulky and angry when she herself is bested. Pru isn't very trusting. She is willing to accept allies, but would struggle with the impulse to betray them. Unless she forms a firm friendship with someone, she hates them. She generally hates all people, and spends most of her time studying and trying to become better at technological graphics. Often, her stubborn attitude can come across as bitchy to other people, and she prefers it this way.
History:
Pru was born in District Three, and her mother had had difficult births beforehand. This, was the worst by far. Her mother died of bloodloss not long afterwards, and Pru was taken in by her grandmother to be raised. Her grandmother tried her best, but Pru could not get the full care that she needed from the old woman.
When Pru was very young, she would often spend time in the back garden, swinging on the smile tire swing that hung from the old tree out there. She would watch the sky for birds, writing down in her notepad what she had seen. Robins, kestrels, hawks, sparrows, starlings, thrushes, finches, tits, doves, crows. Anything she saw that was of the avian variety was added to her journal.
One day, a group of boys from school snatched her journal, looking through it scornfully. They mocked her, and ripped the pages from her year-old copy book. Terribly upset, Pru gathered up the scattered pieces of her past times. She ran home and threw it all in the bin, vowing never to look upon another bird. Perhaps that was a bit dramatic... of coarse she'd look at other birds. But not the same way she used to.
Eventually, it dawned on Pru that her grandmother was feeble and wasn't capable of looking after herself, never mind her twelve year old grand-daughter. Pru learned to cook, though she was terrible at it. She couldn't make anything better then soup, so that was what they ate for a while. Soup. Lots of soup. Pru sometimes made a mess of the soup, and it tasted terrible. Luckily for Pru, her friends, who were a bit older then her, were much better at cooking and would sometimes come over and help.
~I will finish this later.
