[presto] may rhodes. sixteen. female. district nine. THE CIMARRON ROSES | The hours dragged on and on. Training was starting to become more important and the strengths of each tribute were starting to shine through. May had been working in the trapping station and had moved over to the weapons station a few moments later. May had never once taken up a bow for any given reason but it was the first weapon that she had gravitated towards when she started training. She had taken well to it and was now competent enough for her to be shooting with accuracy. She still needed a little work. The thing that scared her the most was how well she did with knives. It was her accuracy throwing a knife that caused her to wonder many things. She knew that if there were throwing knives as weapons in the cornucopia she would be going for them. Or a sharp object of some sort. She'd figure it out along the way. It was the skills like trapping that would come in handy in staying fed. She smiled to herself and she took the bow in her hands and placed the arrow where it needed to be. She let it fly and it was only an inch or so off the place she had targeted. She shrugged that off and then her stomach rumbled. She'd nearly forgotten that it was about time to eat and in that right it was about time to meet up with the people she had met and gotten to know just a little bit. They would work well as a team or at least she hoped so. After all they all knew that they needed some sort of alliance to get through the games in one piece for more than just the bloodbath. You couldn't go in it alone. Every time she thought about doing so Bryce's voice would come into her ears and tell her to try. To try and make friends and keep them close. So she was trying she was listening to the words of advice from a fallen tribute. She moved away from the station and headed for the dinning hall. She wasn't going to miss out on this meeting and whether she was there first or not she wasn't sure as she hadn't been looking at the other stations to see if the rest of them were coming up from the training station as well. She collapsed on a bench with food in front of her about five minutes later. She shook a few deep breaths having realized that running all the way to the dinning hall hadn't been the best of ideas and it had gotten her a few strange looks from the peacekeepers one of which has followed her like he was going to come and grab her. She wasn't running away after all she knew there was now way to get out of having to fight to the death. It would disappoint the people of the capitol not that those people really mattered to her. It would just get her killed quicker and ruin chances of sponsors if it got out that she was a trouble maker. She was trying very hard to imagine how Bryce would have acted. She had his words roaming around in her head including now the ones from his interview. She took another deep breath and looked around herself. She didn't see the others yet. Where could they be? She was starting to get a little nervous about all of it and the sooner the talking happened the sooner she could start worrying about other matters. ((figured I would state that they probably had met and were now just going to talk about forming the alliance. we can meet each other one on one or two at a time.))
