It's been 84 years.

Ok, not quite.

But it's still been a while. The last time I was here was around 2010ish, under the name "Axium." I was 13 at the time, and my writing skills were honestly horrifying. Like cringe-worthy (I found a few old threads in the archives, and... well, let's just say I felt like getting a TARDIS and slapping past-me). I stopped posting around that time because I got lazy started high school, and the stress level went over 9000. I just could not find the time, nor the inspiration, to continue RPing. As such, I went on a long hiatus.

In the 3.5 years I was gone, a lot has changed. For one, I decided to get a new account (fixing that terrible typo) rather than revive my old one, mostly because I wanted a clean slate and not get haunted by those god-awful past RPs. I had three characters attached with that account, namely Jaxon Garnette from D2, Rowan Andersson from D7, and Harvest Moon from D11. While I will miss these characters deeply, I feel it would be more beneficial for myself if I let them go and begin from scratch again.

*Cue Adele Dazeem*

Which brings me to my next point. I think I am a much different person now that I'm 17 than I was 4 years ago. High school has changed me, and shown me my passions. Next year, I'm a candidate for the editor-in-chief position in our school newspaper, for example, and I'm also a core member of our robotics team and math team (This is how you know I'm Asian). Therefore, a new start will allow me to portray a different image of myself and a different personality.

I really don't want to drag this on too much longer, so here's the point: I'm back, new and (hopefully) improved. I'm not sure how long I'll stay around this time, but we'll see. I just finished my junior year and summer's finally here, so time shouldn't be an issue for now. Anyway. It's nice to see that the site is just as good as it was before, and I see many familiar names (Lulu! Aya! Wolf! Shrimp! South! Woooooo!)

But enough of my rambling. It's nice to be back.
