Writing Thoughts Says Hears
Russell had already seen this coming. He was currently having a serious problem with his anger lately. Everything just was annoying him. All the Matheson's were trying to take control over the family in their own ways and Russell was getting tired of it every day. His usual fake happy mood was taken over with his real grumpy one. It all started during the early morning with Nora who had made some explosive that went off and had woken him up to a few complaints from other family members, mainly the females in the house saying they needed their precious beauty sleep. After that, Russell stayed awake for the rest of the day. He tried to go do something outside, but he had to stay in the house or else it would go to chaos without him.
The older sibling was sitting on the couch for the rest of the morning, honestly doing nothing but staring at the ceiling. He felt tired, but couldn't go to sleep for the rest of the morning. He had decided to get ready for the rest of the day, since he was already up, but Charlie had decided to get up and want to take a shower right that instant. Russell, just allowed her, since he already was annoyed with the rude awakening. The only thing he could thing of to do, was go for a early morning run. He had changed into his basketball shorts and tennis shoes, not caring about having a shirt on. After all, it may already be scorching outside. Russell left the house for a run for about an hour. That was the worst mistake that he could have made.
Once he had gotten home, the first thing he did was take a shower to rid the smell of sweat and body odor. He got out and got dressed in a tank top and basketball shorts. The next thing he knew, there was an argument happening. Maggie and Rachael were arguing over something that definitely was not of importance to him, until his head started hurting. Russell moved to his own room, to take a nap, but that idea was thrown to the wind when Charlie came bursting in yelling at him for some stupid reason. He waved her off, but she wouldn't budge. He then just decided to nod and agree to whatever she had to say and she finally left to Jason probably. Russell was already annoyed as much as he possibly could be right then and there. The rest of the day was spent with more arguments, Danny whining to Russell, Nora exploding another thing, and Jason just ignoring Russell's presence. He'd have to thank him tomorrow for just avoiding him.
Then it was night time and he had just made dinner. He didn't really know why he made it, but he did and fed the rest of the kiddos, making as much minimal talking there could be. His head was already hurting all day and it was pounding against his skull like it was going to burst. The only thought that was going through his head was the need to escape the dreaded Matheson house. He quickly went to his room, grabbed a jacket and his wallet, just in case. That's when he realized someone was watching him. The eyes were burning into his skull. The male turned to find the only person that truly hadn't annoyed him all day. "Ian." His voice caught on something. He didn't know that he had jumped a little on the inside. A smile formed on Russell's face. Something that rarely happens.
After a few moments of an awkward silence, Russell got an idea and screamed throughout the house real quick, "Ian and I are gonna go for a walk. Charlie you're in charge for right now!" After what felt like forever, or well just a minute, Charlie replied with a okay. Russell's smile disappeared and was replaced with a expressionless stare. His voice rang to Ian, "Lets get going. I want to show you something." Russell grabbed Ian's hand and smiled at him before taking him outside to the nice and cool air that seemed to soothe Russell's aching head. The only thing Russell was going to hope for was that tonight would be a good night. He was pretty sure it would be since he was with Ian. Nothing could ruin his night now. Nothing.
