This is Rich. See Rich fight. Watch as his anger at the world bubbles over into his daily life. See the boys laugh at Cadman's disappearance, and watch as Rich yells at them. See him defend his brother, watch him throw the first punch. Know that Rich is not small nor weak like his brother, and that there is some power behind his fist. Watch as Rich is beaten to the ground like his brother used to be. Rich is brave, and continues to fight back, even when unprovoked. Rich knows that his brother is alive, and will be found. This is Rich. See Rich watch. Watch Rich observe as his brother is taken on stage. Feel his pain as he struggles to comprehend what has happened. Observe his confusion as he runs his hand through his brown hair. Know that Rich is screaming inside as Cadman is pushed into the Justice Building. See his emotions fight to get a grip of themselves, as each knows that they need to be felt. Watch anger take a hold of Rich, and make him punch the wall. Watch sorrow make Rich lean against that same wall and sob. Watch confusion make him wonder where his brother has been for the past months. Watch hope take a hold and make him head towards the Justice Building to talk to his brother. Observe the Peacekeeper who refuses to let him enter. See Rich panic, and fight to get by, only to be thrown to the ground. Know instinct has taken over as Rich continues to fight. See his sister fight for him, only to be thrown to the ground as well. Watch the family turn away, heads hung, and hope gone. See them head home, to close the world off from them, and deal with their grief. This is Rich. See Rich loathe. Watch Rich question everything, demanding to know where he brother was, and why Cadman left his family. Feel his confusion, feel his despair deepening. Imagine the sheer pain of losing a brother, only to have him return, then ripped away again. Know that Rich wants his brother to succeed, to win the glory, and return home. Also know that Rich knows in his heart of hearts that Cadman will not be returning this time. Watch as this knowledge rips Rich apart, half of him praying that Cadman wins, the other half descending into a place no human should go. See Rich struggle to comfort his sister when he still feels that there is no happiness in life. Wonder what thoughts are running through his mind as he sets his squared jaws and lies through his teeth. This is Rich. See Rich scream. Watch Rich scream as the arrow enters Cadmans eye. See him scream in agony long after the cameras have turned away from the cornucopia. Feel his parched throat rebelling agains the vibrations of the shouts, yet his emotions override his body. Rich no longer cares, not about his brother, nor his family, nor himself. Rich is gone, replaced by a screaming boy who wants no more than his brother back. When the screaming ends, see Rich collapse, his thin frame laying down on the cold wooden floors. This is Rich. See Rich disappear. Watch him go into a place there the sun is nothing but a dream, where his blue eyes have lost a light. See Rich ripped from his life, and put into a land of the lost. Observe him becoming a screen that only displays the most prominent emotion. See his anger lead to attacks on innocent victims, and his sorrow cause him to cry just minutes afterwards. Richard is a victim to the game, just as much as his brother, because life without a brother isn't much of a life at all. Richard is broken beyod repair, his mind a maze, each dead end leads to another fit of emotion. Watch as he implodes, and is no longer able to navigate within his own mind. This is Rich.
