Dearest members of the Hunger Games Role Play Games website,
My name is Syd, or formally Sydney. In elementary school they called me Squidney which is also acceptable. My age lies around 21, but a month ago I was 20. I don't really know how to describe myself, I mean what is there to really describe anyways in a person. I have blonde hair, but it's short and hangs behind the top of my ears. Oh, also I am a female, and sometimes act like a male. My eyes are blue but you probably didn't need to know that, and i'm very short. I'm the shortest person my age that I've ever met, my younger sister happens to be taller than me, but she also weighs more than me so that's cool. I'm pretty grateful for the life I live, it's pretty sweet 90% of the time and i'm just really happy to be a human that lives on a planet and has friends and an education.
Anyways, a while ago probably a few years, I got really bored with my life. I started to play MMORPGs or MMOs in my free time and got into the game Wizard101 for a long time. It sounds lame and it kind of is now looking back on it, but that's fine because I had amazing memories there even as a 18-19-20 year old person. There was a forum fansite for it that still exists but is very barren, and I gladly joined the site knowing a lot about the game and hoping to help other players. I did a lot of stuff on the website, I made graphics for the users, I made a ton of friends, I guided the new players. Around the time when I basically finished the game I found a board on the forum I never really noticed. The Role-Playing board.
I got really into the role-playing board for so long, and one day a Roleplay popped onto the board I was very interested in. It happened to be A Hunger Games role-play thread. It wasn't the actual role-play itself yet, it was reservations for characters. You made a character for the district and gender you reserved and they were automatically a tribute. I ended up with a District 5 female and had an amazing time using a twelve year old character named Angelica.
This is when the amazing EmsRocks appeared into my life. Sorry Mysteria or Kestrel or Rachel, but I thought you were a guy at first. This was only because your character was a guy and I was super immature. We didn't really interact at all on the thread, but once the new Hunger Games role-play came out, I got District 7 female and she got District 7 Male. This is where the bonding finally happened.
Long story short we talked a lot because our characters were complicated friends and since then we are super good friends in my book. A long time ago she suggested I join this site, and I did. I didn't really get it though, and drifted away after making 1/4 of a character. But I decided to re-appear here after some turning points in my life, and here I am.
I'm currently forming a character now, and I'm just excited to be here. The Wizard101 forum site was G-rated because the game was well G-rated so you were very limited when you RPed, especially at my age where you kind of revolve around things at may or may not be G-rated haha.
Thanks for reading my introduction, it's kind of short but I had no idea what I was going with when I typed it out on my crappy laptop yesterday.
