Characters & Descriptions:
(1) Vali-
Her valley of death takes the form of a dank alley. The few unlucky souls who wander down it during the night find themselves face to face with a demon in disguise. Her smile is always wide, displaying a row of crooked, jagged, yellow teeth. Perhaps it was her hideous smile that started the rumors of her ripping her guardian's guts out. Of course, that isn't the case, Vali would never do that... No what really happened was that she split his head open with a machete and cut off his... um... male part. It was the mans own fault she attacked him, because it was the years of abuse at his hands that made her the insane girl she is today. She uses a put and take spinner to decide what she does with the stray souls who enter the alley. If she lands on a put, the person continues on their way with only an unsettling feeling, but if it lands on a take... well than they leave without a few fingers.

(2) Sleipnir-
After being called a vast number of names, Sleipnir has since decided that his favorite is Imp. A small, unattractive creature, known for causing trouble and being a master of deception. This description of an imp could not be more spot on in his case. Sleipnir loves to trick his enemies into believing he is defeated only to turn around and beat them. He has a constant desire to be in control, whether the others know it or not. This same desire to take control has lead him to use a loaded die or two headed coin (I haven't decided yet) to make sure what he wants to happen happens. Sleipnir's extra appendages are his greatest downfall, the one thing he couldn't control, and the one thing that made him the school freak. With his extra fingers he has been damned to be an outcast, and he has decided that if he must be an outcast, than he better be the best outcast there is.

Why you want them/in the plot: Um... I love you, mythology, Loki, this plot.
Also, I find Vali to be an intriguing character, and would love to craft her into a really vicious little girl. I already have a great FC in mind for her. I love the idea of making her into a really polar character that swings from mood to mood, and in and out of reality. She would be a great girl to RP with. I like the idea of Sleipnir because I was born with six toes on one foot. Of course it has since been removed but I have always wondered what it would be like with six toes.

She is uncontrollable – but you already knew that.

On the surface, she exudes a level of creepy that's only made worse when you see her smile, because the appearance of her teeth doesn't quite match up to the rest of her body– which is, mainly, unclean on the best of days. But what's a girl to do, when she's forced to live like a rat? Nothing, that's what, but oh, those teeth are truly something to behold. Where the gods completely fucked over her life by putting her in such a miserable situation – living with a guardian who may or may not have completely treated her and her twin brother like a couple scoops of dog shit – they blessed her with a beautiful smile, teeth all straight and clean.

(Because she knows that her smile's got a little magic behind it. She knows, and she keeps it clean with a toothbrush and paste she plucked from a counter in a shop.)

In truth, her smile is more than it seems. Everyone seems to think they've got her character down pat: she rebels and never does what she's told, and there's a whole hell of a lotta gossip floating around as to why she does it. (Does she just do the opposite of every order she's given? Does she love the attention? The freedom? It's all very speculative, and only Vali knows the real answer.)

Her smile is the token.

In fact, her every movement, every action is at the heart of her decisions, because she's not gonna flip a coin or roll the dice to decide the basis for her next piece of mayhem – or, chaos willing, her obedience. (Pfft.)

When Vali smiles, she watches. When she smiles, she looks at the faces of the people who deign to look at her, using the actions of the world as the markers for her decisions.

Sometimes she makes her decisions based on mundane every-day things, separate from the way that people react to her, but her favorite method is to gauge the way people respond to that freakish smile, or a phrase, or a threat.. and it doesn't matter, because she's smiling anyways. There will be dozens of different possibilities and dozens of different actions, and none are the same.

At the end of the day, Vali's trouble is her way of saying, you cannot control me. She hides behind a wall of secrecy to protect herself, refusing to let people know too much about her, causing the rumors more often than not. Some say that she's just afraid of feeling powerless, of feeling weak, but whether or not it's really true is unknown to the people that wonder.

Some say that's why she killed her guardian. Maybe because she's a vicious psychopath (rumored), maybe because she's got no control over the abundance of emotions she does have (more likely), or maybe..

Maybe it's none of your damn fucking business.

(and whether she tore guts out with her teeth.. well, she's never denied it, has she?)

(2) I don't need another male character, sorry.
