ODAIRName: Glitch Morrow
Age: 15 years old.
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 3
Appearance:Noticeable almost immediately are the typical sour expressions on her face. More often than not, Glitch features a quirked mouth and a raised brow, her arms crossed over her chest or her hands shoved into the pockets of the jacket she almost always wears. Freckles dot across the bridge of her small, round nose, and a pair of dark brown eyes frequently peer out from lank bangs. Hair bordering somewhere between brown and black, it is typically seen short and curly, although occasionally Glitch manages to comb it into straightened submission.
Despite calling the impoverish District 3 home, Glitch's skills keep her fed, and combined with genetics her face is almost chubby. Preferring to keep to herself, Glitch's skin is slightly pale and she tends to dress in a fashion that is well .. dull. Even if she could afford hair dye or the like, it definitely isn't Glitch's way. Her clothes are typically worn and featuring colors on the bland side of light, and while she occasionally is seen wearing a scarf, jewelry or even twine bracelets are something Glitch prefers to avoid. Glitch works hard not to be remembered, and it shows in her wardrobe.
Personality:Withdrawn and easily irritated, Glitch prefers to keep to herself. She is known to go out of her way to avoid others, and anyone who attempts to engage her may get an earful of color language and eccentric insults. Patience is indeed a virtue, but not one Glitch has chosen to partake in. When forced into conversation, Glitch uses as few words as possibly to keep herself polite, and she's a straight to the point sort of person when 'chatting'. She abhors the boastful and the glamorous, and it shows in her attitude towards the Capitol.History:
Yet, Glitch knows how to kiss up when it's needed. To the Peacekeepers she's bright and sweet, bringing now and then special treats when she gets a hold of them. If it'll help her get away with something in the future, she feels she might as well prepare. Still, this only holds true to those in authority, and behind their back she's quick to make faces and complain.
Clever and observant, Glitch tends to see what others don't, and more than people like, she'll point it out. Blunt, Glitch doesn't care much for making friends, and if she thinks you're trash or doesn't like the way you act, she's happy to point it out. Anyone who can take what she deals out or even respond in kind will earn some respect. Glitch shows affection with snide remarks and harsh words, but the teasing smile on her face or a smirk to the side will show her true intent. Although difficult to befriend, she's easily difficult to shake. Glitch suffers from some paranoia, and expects everyone to talk out on her. Her harsh behavior can be seen as trying to drive others away first, and as such she's never surprised or disappointed when someone walks.
Technologically savvy, Glitch has spent every year since she turned twelve learning the ropes and even tagging along with her uncle on jobs. She enjoys seeing how things work, happy to break them apart to put them back together. Unfortunately this may also apply to people, and Glitch is slowly finding its more difficult to repair a relationship than a radio set. After the death of her mother in childbirth and abandonment by her father, Glitch was raised by her mother's brother, Vallen 'Volt' Morrow. An engineer, Vallen spends much of his time coming in and out of the Capitol as well as the houses of the more elite in District 3, repairing various items in posh houses around the country. As a result his family was kept relatively well fed, and became subject to some dislike around the District. Vallen is well known as a kiss ass, a habit his niece picked up from him.
Dealing with harsh remarks from those she attends school with, Glitch became more and more withdrawn and ill-tempered. More than once she skipped school all together, choosing to tag along with her uncle to his jobs rather than sit in a school room of irritating peers. For her assistance, Glitch was given a little pocket money, which she uses typically on sweets or trinkets - the trinkets to be torn apart to build other things with, the sweets to bribe Peacekeepers when she's found somewhere she shouldn't be.
Glitch has never made much in the way of friends, and she prefers it that way. For the most part she aspires to be an Engineer like her uncle, and perhaps some day move into the Capitol - or, if she can pull it off, escape from the Districts altogether. When she doesn't tag along with Volt, Glitch can be caught staring into space or walking along the fence. She spends a lot of time around anyone with books, as well as the poachers, watching and learning. Whether such a thing will pay off if she's ever in the Arena will remain to be seen.
