Dear Charade,
Remember that time we were so worried about getting everything ready for these Games - and then they ended in the blink of an eye? I cannot believe how fast these last two months have gone. And part of that time warp is thanks to you. You made these Games easy. You made them fair and interesting. You made them wonderful.
When I had my breakdowns, you were there to prop me right back up. And when the stress ate away at me, you stepped in and managed everything, even though we planned to split the work evenly. You kept us, our little GM team, centered. For that I am deeply grateful.
I so admire you. Your work ethic is unparalleled, and you are the definition of zen. You are so good at balancing work, home, family, writing and everything else you do. Just by being you, you reminded me that there's this whole world beyond the minutiae of the Games. Thank you for giving me perspective.
I'm very glad that your vraven trap got triggered, because both the mutts and the trap itself are inspired. It was so much fun to plot out the REs with you, even though we ended up with a good chunk unused. Those victor tribs were really in for it if they'd made the Top 8!
Cadence is a force to be reckoned with, and while I doubt Glamour and she will ever be friends, I think they made the perfect pair for this adventure. He certainly could not have done it without her.
And I could not have done it without you.
<3333333
Loony, arya, Arc, Ani, minie, Briar - thank you for being a part of these Games! I wish we could have seen more of your tributes. You made these Games better by being a part of them.
Jess - thank you for being so patient with me. I'm really sorry we didn't get to thread longer with Marianne/Mace (totally my bad). I'm so glad you got to represent D10 these Games and I look forward to seeing your next trib <3
Wander - it's always a blessing and a curse to be reaped when you're so new! It was wonderful to read Cystine's development, and I'm bummed he went out so early. I love your writing, and I love that you're a local! Hoping to see more of your published work soon. <3
Sam - thank you for being a part of these Games. Just wouldn't be the same to GM without you, after all! I loved that you were in it for the lulz, and Darius was a great representative for D10. <3
Zoe - I miss the Bad Bitches something awful. They were a brilliant alliance, and Tiger was their core, their heart. I'm definitely missing her </3.
Lalia - omg what to say, always so fun to have you in the Games <3! Thanks for doing lulzy things and thanks for being patient with us. We think too much alike!! It was pretty funny, how easily you anticipated our RE gifts. Nocturne and Erebus were two of my faves these Games. Keep on being awesome!
Josh - I still has a sad that we didn't see more JohnMorgan </3 But I'm stoked that you had a tribute in our arena! Definitely different, watching Jem in the arena vs. Julian. I definitely want to thread Fabian calling up Gentry to offer his condolences. And as ever, I'm looking forward to all of our other plotting <333
Cassterly - Libraria Games! <3 </3 I'm so sad they're over tbh. It was delightful having you be a part of them. Thank you for volunteering. Thank you for talking to me, and keeping me in the loop and for letting me vent. Thank you for pushing Aelia forward. You are an amazing writer and an even better friend. <3
Sahalie - Damn, girl! You did tremendously well these Games. You had a great alliance, and you hit 'em hard when you needed to. Definitely looking forward to seeing the dice back in your hands in a future Games!
Ayay - Welp, it definitely wasn't the same, not being in the arena with you! But I think I still managed to stalk your tribute pretty good. As ever, Dan was a complete badass and made our arena, our Games, better. Thank you, thank you, thank you for Dan and for all your help with the engine!
Darsily - </////////////3 There's not enough broken hearts in the world for Gavin. What a shock to lose him. He is one of my most favorite of your characterswhich you know, since there are so many, is saying something <3. Bringing your tribs together in the afterlife is brilliant. I hope you don't have to add any more. Ever. <3
Monet - Ugh, where to start. I could write an entire love note just to you and your brilliance. Ingrid was both more grounded and more whimsical than your other tributes. I've loved watching your writing and characterization grow from Demeter to her. My little fish </3. She got the perfect death post, and I'll remember her fondly. Libraria Games forever <3
Kiah - I'm still not over Sonja's DP/thread. So much sadness, so much loss. </3 She was a brilliant character, and made her alliance stronger. I'm so glad you were a part of these Games. And thank you for always being so patient and open with me. I can't wait to plot with you more!
Mylee - Owen Name-Name is going to be one of the tributes Glamour remembers, forever. Thank you for being so wonderfully positive, and for fighting so hard. Owen/Leon was a ton of fun to follow, and really added something to our Games. <3
Geebs - What can I say, other than you really know how to make me laugh? Erebus was definitely the parent of his alliance, and I loved watching him and Nocturne interact. As ever, your tributes are lovable, endearing, and determined. I have Turner feels, even though I don't have a Turner. He is missed. But it isn't a Games without a Geebs!trib, so I know I'll see more of your writing soon <3
elelelelele - I really don't what to say here that I haven't said already other than: thank you the most. For your patience, for understanding, for calling us out when we needed to be. You are so good at the Games, and you are a tremendous, jaw dropping writer. I loved reading Potato's accented prose. I want to keep reading it. I cannot wait to be the fan that says "I knew her back when."
Rave - homie, you rocked these Games. Seriously. I am deeply grateful that you were a part of them. Charlottenever Charlie!was a lot of fun to read. Glamour will forever remember her fashion murder. And for my part, I'm so glad I had a chance to get to know you. You are ridiculously funny, vraven, and I so appreciated your positive attitude throughout everything.
Kire - I'm so grateful for these Games because they gave me the opportunity to get to know you better. You are incredible. You have a knack of statistics, you are so organized, you write beautifully. You are a fierce competitor, and you challenged us to be better Gamemakers. Thank you for that. Thank you for all the stats and insight and for talking things through with me. I would love to plot with you, whenever and wherever.
Anzie - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Our victor, the victorious <333 I'm so delighted to see where you take him. District Four's first victor - and what a wonderful victor he is. I loved him from the moment I read his PTS. You have such a whimsical way with words. Reading your posts is more often like reading poetry. And thank you for your kindness, patience, and understanding. I cannot wait to have all the beautiful posts and threads in the Capitol, District Four, and beyond.
