"hey dad I miss you a lot you know mums getting worse and Issa is asking more and more about you. I just wish you could be here ." Luna whimpered. "my bipolar is getting worse. I'm depressed all the time and have no friends." Then she heard somebody behind her it was a girl but she continued to sit in front of her dads grave. she felt tears dribble down her face. she had her fathers journal wrapped in her arms the pages grey with wear. The grass tickled her bare legs. when she heard the boy getting closer she became silent. and just sat there she thought the girl would probably come over to her and try to talk to her even though Luna didn't want them to. The cold air blew her black hair out of her face.

Luna hated having bipolar it stopped her from having any good friend and her life was a lonely one. She wish she could have some friends. The only friend Luna ever had was Alex and she wasn't allowed to see her any more, she just wish she could have a friend as good as her again.

Isabella Davis

You walk through the graveyard, a shortcut on your way home, the silent whispers of those who've past tickling your conscience. You look up, and see a girl sitting in front of a grave, cradling a diary, as if a life depended on it. You take two strides towards her, the tears rolling slowly down her already sodden cheeks. Keeping back, you hear her speak, sniffling softly. "Hey Dad, I miss you a lot you know. Mum's getting worse and Issa is asking more and more about you. I just wish you could be here. My bipolar is getting worse. I'm depressed all the time and have no friends."

You step closer again, as she glances behind, shutting her mouth, and grasped the book tighter. The wind blew the dark black hair over the girl'a face, as you crouch down next to her. "Hello, my name is Isabella," you murmur quietly. "Are you alright?"

"Hello issabella and yes im alright im fine. My name is Luna."Luna said as she stood up to look isabella in the eye, she looked sympathecit for luna. Luna whippeded her teas from her face with the sleeve of her coat.

"What are you doing here are you here to see some one who has died?" Luna asked trying not to break out into tears. Her fathers journal still in her grasp she would not let it go. Luna hoped that her and Isabella woukd become close friends and once again luna could be happy just like when Alex was around.

Isabella Davis

The girl looked at you in your eyes, searching deep for a reason of why you're here. "Hello Isabella, and yes I'm alright. I'm fine. My name is Luna." Standing up, Luna stood to look right at your eyes. Her eyes soften, as she reads the sympathy written on them. She wipes the tears from her cheeks with the sleeves of her tattered coat, still while grasping the aged diary.

"What are you doing here? Are you come to see someone who has died?" The tears twinkle in the corner of her eyes, as she fought back tears. You mill over the fact that she was mourning. "Yes, I was going to see my uncle. Do you want to come with me?" Almost regretting what you had said, you hold out a hand, waiting for it to be grabbed.

Luna grabbed Isabella's hand as she walked away towards her uncles grave, Luna can't hold back the years any more and she let's them folw freely dripping down onto her collar. When Isabella stops Luna bumps into her and stumbles backwards in a daze. Luna looks down at where Isabella is standing to see a small grey grave stone. Luna cannot read it her eyes too full of tears.

"Do you miss him you uncle?" Luna asks trying to catch her breath. Isabella seamed in a distant land and did not reply for several silent moments.

Isabella Davis

Luna grabs your hand as you begin to walk to your uncle's grave. You turn your head, to look for his grave. In the dark, the normally open cemetery looks more like a prison for the dead, no longer a resting place. Looking back at Luna, you decide to keep this to yourself. No point in making her upset, you thought. You look in front again, before spotting where it is. On the opposite of the graveyard. Great.

You check back on Luna, who tears are rolling quickly down her cheeks and down her collar. You stop in front of your uncle's grave, cell, prison, and you feel a shove from behind, as Luna walks into you. Walking back to the grave, you just look at the stone- Steven Davis. Never a man, Always a hero. Luna nudges your shoulder and softly asks. "Do you miss him? Your uncle?" You stay quiet for a moment, thinking about a way to not make Luna upset. "Yes, I do miss him. But I remember that he died a hero, so that makes it feel a bit better." You look back at the girl behind you, and how frail she looks. "Um... Do you want me to walk you home Luna?"

"Um if you don't mind thanks your really nice would you like to be friends. Its not far to my house I live in the slums." Luna explained quietly. Luna took hold of Isabella's hand and pulled her out of the grave yard. Several times Luna tripped up, yet she never fell to the floor. Luna found the silence annoying so she started some small talk.

"What did you mean when you said your uncle died a hero? What did he do?" Luna asked trying to be nice. They reached to gates of the grave yard, Luna tried to open the gates but they were locked it was getting late now and curfew was getting nearer if they couldn't get out they would be in a lot of trouble with the head peacekeeper. Then Isabella answered her question...

"Um if you don't mind, thanks," rushed Luna. "You're really nice, would you like to be friends? Its not far to my house, I live in the slums." She grabs hold of your hand, allowing you to follow her. In her rush, Luna trips, but never falls, pulling you forward.Frowning in the silence, Luna opens her mouth, and shuts it again, as if thinking of the right thing to say. And then she found it. "What did you mean when you said your uncle died a hero? What did he do?" You consider the question, as Luna tries to open the gate. It was locked, and coming up fast to when the Peacekeepers would scour the streets, and drag you in for trespassing.

You think about the answer and open your mouth. "Um... Yeah, he worked in the mines, and a collapse was about to happen. He warned everyone to get out, and he went in to rescue someone. He and the person he went to rescue were recovered, dead, a month later." You take a breath, and start to talk again. "So. How are we going to get out of this?"

"Um I.. um don't know hat we can do we could try climbing over." Luna said as she looked up to see electric wires across the top of the gate. "Shoot we cant climb over there's electric wire dammed it." she exclaimed as she paced around. They over here the shouting of peacekeepers coming closer to the grave yard.

"Quick hide or they'll see us." Luna said pushing Isabella behind a near by bush. They sat there panting from fright, the peacekeepers were out side the gates now.

"Is there any one in there?" shouted one of them.

"No one sir lets move on." replied the other there flash light moved to wards Isabella and Luna as they held there breath hoping they wouldn't be seen...

You look around, looking for a way to escape the circumstance, and find none. Luna points to the fence, and says "Um I.. um don't know. What we can do we could try climbing over," looking around to see if you can. "Shoot we can't climb over, there's electric wire. Damn it." You glance around, looking for something else to get out of the church yard. You freeze, hearing the voices of men. Peacekeepers.

"Quick, hide or they'll see us," urged Luna, shoving you towards nearby bush. You duck down, and pull Luna down with you. The torchlight danced on the ground in front of you, as a peacekeeper calls "Is there anyone in there?" Another replied with almost alarming pace. "No one sir, let's move on." The torch bounces towards the bush, closer, closer. You hold your breath, shut your eyes. "Hey! You two! What are you doing in the graveyard after dark!?" Ah, shit. Busted.

The church gate swung open, and a squad of Peacekeepers march in, guns pointed at you. "Come out with your hands up!" And you follow. Dear Ripred, you follow.

"Hey you two what are you doing in the grave yard after dark!" Shouted the peacekeeper. As a quadren bust onto the senece.
"Come out with your hands up!" He continued. Luna walked out into the opens arms In The air closely followed by Isabella. What would they do Luna thought to herself.
"Sorry officer we got locked in its not are fault." Luna stummered. She looked to her side, looked into the eyes of her new friends Isabella and with out words said sorry, she felt like crying but she had to be strong and she refused to cry in from of the man who killed her father.

"Oh and look who it is, the liittel bratty daughter of Joseph darkmatter the guys who stabbed me." He chukkeled.
"Don't speak my fathers name you bastard." I shouted at him.

"Sorry officers, we got locked in. It's not our fault," stammered Luna. Looking at you, her eyes spell the words silently. I'm sorry. The peacekeepers stood there, guns unwavering, pointing them at you. Tears roll down your cheeks, through fear, through apologies. You blink, trying to clear your eyes, but the tears flow more freely. The smirk of one of the peacekeepers was terrifying.

"Oh and look who it is, the little bratty daughter of Joseph Darkmatter, the guy that stabbed me!" he chuckled, chortled. The apologetic face Luna had changed, to hatred, in the flash of an eye. No longer the tearful girl, but a veil of hatred. "Don't speak my fathers name, you bastard!" she screamed, the look of hell in her eyes scares you to your core. You try to pull away, but your body, your mind won't move, petrified of Luna, of the guns still consciencely pointed at you. All you can do is whisper; "I want to go home."

Luna looked at Isabella she looks petrified she think to her self , is she scared of me? Then Luna noticed that Isabella had mouthed to her I want to go home. Luna mouths back ill get us out of this I promise. She turns her head back to the peacekeepers there guns pointing straight at us.

"you to follow me we are going to be assessing your punishment with the mayor." shouted the head peacekeeper. Luna walked forwards and noshed to Isabella to follow her. I'm so sorry Isabella this is my fault. The peacekeepers walked them out of the graveyard and towards the mayors house, on there way there they walked passed Luna's house she saw her mother on the porch looking ever so worried.

They reached the mayors house are grand building. The head peace keeper walked up to the front door and knocked on it loudly. Luna here the knocks echo into the nights air. Slowly the door opened.

"what's the problem officer, oh I see to misgive makers here to hear your punishments I'm guessing?" he beckoned them in to his house. Luna had always wonder what it would look like inside the mayors house. She looked behind her to check on Isabella she was shaking uncontrollably and tears had stained her face, Luna felt the same but was too angry to show it.

The anger on Luna's face left, as she understood your words. "I'll get us out of this. I promise," she whispers back to you. You nod, as if to understand, but the confusion swept through your mind, unkept like wildfire. The peacekeeper shouts again. "You two! Follow me! We're going to be assessing your punishment with the mayor!"

The gates open, and a opening appears in the gunmen. You walk through, beckoned by the peacekeeper, as they close in behind you, guns still trained on you. The walk to the mayor's house wasn't a long one, but your legs feel tired, as if you have run a marathon. The glances from people were unnerving you, but you look straight ahead. A look of sheer horror on a woman's face, surprisingly similar to Luna goes by. Her mother, you think.

The knock on the grand doors of the mayor's echo through the silent night, and reverb back through you. You shake, and begin to cry again, as you process that this is actually happening. The mayor opens the door, and allows them entrance with words being exchanged, but not caught by yourself. And then you collapse.

Luna looks beside her to see that Isabella has collapsed in shock of there punishment they are told they are to have ten lashings each tomorrow morning in the town centre. Luna rushed to help Isabella but is stopped by the head peacekeeper.
"Hold them in a cell till tomorrow then they will get there punishment." She says as they are bragged put of the room down flights of stairs and into a cold and damp basement, Isabella still inconsios. And for the next few minuets that is the best.
"I'll take her lashings please it was my fault just let me take her punishment, don't hurt her." Luna protests to the mayor.
"You are willing to take the punishment for this girl who you met today, fine you will have twenty lashing and she will have none." Said that mayor before he walked off.

Luna looks to her side then is when she notices that Isabella heard the whole thing.
