[Day 1] Sabre Round 1: Rex vs. Birch

Tigerius Rex —

It was good to be back in Four, good to get a chance to compete again. During the last Olympics, he'd had a great deal of fun competing — and a great deal of fun not competing — regardless of how well he'd done. And he was back again, this year with a few brothers in tow. Regularly a ball of energy, the excitement of the Olympic Games had increased Tiger's energy tenfold. He snatched up a sabre and leapt over to the strip, where the redhead was assigned the green light.

Tiger brought his sabre up in salute before sliding his mask down over his trademark smile, ready to begin the bout.

He drummed on his heels, bounding back and forth, before making a series of quick lunges at the brooding boy he'd been paired up with. He took a few tags to the arm, the shoulder, the top of the mask, but it didn't get to the ginger's head — having such a thick skull came in handy for some things, after all. A winning smile still plastered on his face, Tiger redoubled his attack efforts against his opponent from Two.

Tigerius Rex —

They rained blows down upon one another, Tiger landing four hits and his opponent matching them with four touches of his own. The score stayed close, though the redhead from One didn't bother keeping track. It was a good bout, well-matched, and that's what mattered to him. Win or lose, he was having a hell of a time — and was having a hell of a time keeping his stupid grin off of his face.

Full of energy, he darted forward, blade searching for an opening in his opponent's defenses.

Tigerius Rex —

He was a blur of blades and lights, and with the red hair sticking out the back of his mask Tiger Rex was on fire. Nothing excited him quite so much as competition, and winning — he was quite sure that he was winning — was even better than that. An unstoppable force of energy, Tiger drummed on his toes, seldom touching the ground at all except to lunge and flunge at the opponent opposite him on the strip.
