Appearance:
Jenny has light blonde hair that she keeps straight mostly except for a bit which she keeps down the front of one shoulder. Her eyes are a deep green like the forest that surrounds her. She is thin, but not like one who is thin from exercising or slender like a ballerina. She is thin from just being thin. It is just how she grew up, always thin. Most people around her are thin from being poor but she always has enough to eat because of her vegetable garden. Jenny is just thin from being one of those people who can eat a lot but still be thin.
Most of the time Jenny is seen in the garden behind her families small house, tending to the fruits and flowers as she jumps around. You may notice she pays more attention to the flowers with color than the fruit and vegetables she grows for her large family.
Jenny is not very tall for her age. People tease her about it sometimes at school by calling her "shorty" or "baby legs." Instead of feeling hurt Jennifer instead just laughs along with them in her loud bubbly laughter.
Her teeth are short and crooked, with a few baby teeth still in. She doesn't really care about that much though. If one person makes a joke about them she would laugh along with them just like with her height.
Despite her small size, Jenny has long graceful fingers that are good with plants.
Sometimes she can be seen in the woods, just bouncing around, looking at everything. During those times her mother calls her the wood nymph out in the forest if anyone asks where her daughter is.
Other times she can be seen at the garden store with the nice lady there who introduced her to her love of flowers.
Personality:
Jennifer is how would you say it... bubbly. No one takes her seriously much often because of that. Because she is too bubbly. She is the sort of girl who would bounce around and get excited by anything! She is also the kind of girl who worries to much about who others think of her, especially boys. There is one boy though who she likes to work with at the garden shop she works at with the kind lady who runs it whose nickname was Pink.
Jennifer also loves nature of all sorts. Especially flowers that are meant to brighten up the room. Her favorite color is yellow because yellow is bright and demanding saying: "Look at me!" She likes the feeling when she where's her favorite yellow dress because it makes her feel as if people pay her more attention and don't think her annoying anymore.
Jenny also doesn't really care much about what people think about her. At school people often make jokes about her height or crooked teeth. Despite what anyone says Jennifer doesn't care, she just smiles and laughs along with whoever made the joke.
I should have mentioned. Jennifer thinks that everyone thinks she is just an annoying little girl bouncing about a lot. She hates when she thinks people are thinking that but she can't help it. But no matter how hard she tries she can never seem to calm her bouncy nature to not think that.
Her best friend's nickname that the woman at the shop had given her was red rose as Jenny's was yellow rose. She had met red when she had first started working at the flower shop and it was an instant friendship.
History:
Since Jennifer was a little girl she had been bouncy. To put it correctly actually her whole life she had been bouncy. When she was little she would hop around the back garden happily not caring how poor her family was. She would grow the beautiful flowers in the back yard and run around the yellow flowers she had planted, poking up from the ground.
When Jennifer was about five years old she wandered into the woods. Her mother and father were really worried for her and were out searching and searching. Then at around 9 pm they found her trying to sneak up on a bear. They got her away safely but it could have gone very badly. After that her parents were so worried about Jennifer they placed strict rules on her. She had disliked the rules very much. but when she grew older her parents had stopped with them because they felt as if she was responsible enough now.
At the age of ten she had first went to the garden store and had met the nice lady there who taught her how to really appreciate nature. Jenny had then started working there after finding out how nice the woman really was. Also all the smells of the amazing plants in the store made Yellow Rose forget all the troubles around her.
Jennifer had met her best friend there, Red, at work. They had met while being both assigned to working on the roses and they became instant friends. She had also met her crush there, Pink Rose. He was just so dreamy to her. He seemed so amazing and nice.
As Jennifer's parents started to notice their little girl go on a lot of walks to the dangerous woods they started to worry something was wrong.
