Hello, all!

So, a while back I made a plot called The Tragic Delights of the Fer Family. It had all this magical jib jab stuff, about tragedies and death and family hatred and self-loathing you know all that casual, normal family justgirlythings.. Well, it was a hit! And we got lotsa peeps who signed up for it and made characters. It was great.

But then, it didn't really go anywhere.

And I admit, that is because I was a lousy, horrible plot owner. And I admit, I probably still am that. But hey, I think it's most definitely time that we get this plot going, mkay? So first things first, we need to see who's actually still here. Because, althoough it makes me sad, I think we've lost some of the members who had a member of the Fermily way back when. So, if you have a Fer and would like to keep them, please send me a PM saying you would like to keep your Fer, and a link to their bio. Also, ending the PM with "suck my ass" is necessary. Thanks guys!

Since i'm most definitely expecting to not get PMs from a few people, i've decided to let people apply for Fers, if they'd like to. Character Ideas: Vahni means fire in Indian and several other languages and I intend to express that in multiple ways with this character. First off Vahni has always had a very negative and hateful view of life and basically everyone alive, as one can imagine with him being a Fer. The first part where fire comes into play is that fact that he has a spitfire temper, one small thing can set him off in an uncontrollable raging fit. However, when not being pissed at the world Vahni can be found stealing from people and swindling them out of their money. He is a very clever and cunning boy, but he just uses these things in all the wrong ways. The last thing his fire meaning name comes into play is, well, he is a pyromaniac. He loves setting things on fire and just simply watching them burn. He also loves creating machines that cause things to burn, hence the reason he works in a firebomb manufacturing factory as a lowly worker there. He has also been known to steal some supplies from the factory on occasion to create his own smaller versions of the fire bombs. As of right now Vahni hasn't killed or lighten anyone on fire other than himself, yet.
As for his family ties, since this plot seems pretty family established at the moment, I will leave the sorting of his relations to the family for you to choose.

Character Ideas: Hi so from my research (my Sam-Winchester-esque style research, I might add ~~aka google search~~), I found that Ramos has two different meanings. The name can refer to "branching" or "pleasant," and so I smashed them together love me pls

Some say that ignorance is bliss, and while this may be true, one simply cannot stay ignorant forever. It's at this point that denial becomes the only alternative that seems to be made available, and often this path is taken rather than that of stepping up to face the consequences. However, Ramos has never really been any sort of ignorant, skipping straight to denial and choosing to forget any previous tragedies that have befallen the family. For this reason even their existence is denied from his thoughts, and upon the mention of blood running through the cracked floorboards in the house or flames licking walls that once sheltered this family's fragile bones, he turns away. There's no grace in death, no beauty in the end of all things.

And of course, grace and beauty are only a few of the things he has cause to think upon. It's these pleasant things, things that shed light and love and hope upon a family who doesn't have any left to spare that hold some thought of prominence in his mind. He believes in grace and choice, and an untimely death would not do justice to either of these. There may be a beginning to his timeline, but he does not see an end, for this would lead one to believe that this life might be it, that the second our heart stops beating we cease to exist, and this is a crime greater than the simple denial of any and all things with a negative undertone.

Justifying what we do wrong doesn't necessarily make it right, but in this case, it leaves not a period at the end of a sentence, but a question mark.

For Ramos Fer doesn't think he's invincible; he believes it because any other answer would deem an ending a possibility.

Chiara, meaning light in Italian, and dark in Irish. She is simultaneously light and dark.

Her smile lights up the room. Her laugh is that of a child's and her small frame tells you she is one. She is radiant, but lacks the light in her eyes. That small sparkle in the eye of every innocent is gone in this tiny child. What it is exactly that robbed her is unknown to everyone except her and the man who took it from her. Chiara is rather quiet, her mind more preoccupied with listening to the words of others. She finds pleasure in the way small ways people express love for each other, but finds herself unable to return the gestures. Her deep rooted distrust of everything and everyone causes her world to be limited to only the people she lives with. Chiara is not the ball of light she appears to be. She is a ball of darkness shrouded in a cloak of artificial happiness.

Character Ideas: Okay, so Kliment is a Russian name meaning merciful, and in a way she is just that, merciful, forgiving. She sees herself as the good sent to the Fer family, as if she was the one to free the souls of Capone and Bonnie Fer, of Aquina and of Lizzie and Borden; she sees herself as the median, the one to cross the bridge between her fallen relatives and her cursed ones. Each candle lit and each paper lantern thrown is another stepping block to guiding her lost to where the belong - the heavens. All in all, she is mercy, the whim of Ripred, she forgives their forsaken souls and sins. She is light, to guide them through the dark, to take them out of her house and back into their graves.

Character Ideas: Emmalia is the baby-cat of the group, snuggly and warm to those she is familiar with and terrified of everyone else. The whole family feels protective of her mainly because she is the type to stumble into situations that could get herself hurt. She's not street-smart, and she doesn't generally realize how dangerous the situations she gets herself into are. In fact most would describe her as having her head in the clouds a little bit. She's a deep thinker, and she's unaware of reality. She mostly chooses to classify others as predators unless they prove themselves worthy, which can cause her to be a little isolated. Despite this she wanders into danger often, and due to her inadvertent fear, will break down and need rescuing. Her family has been her rescuer for most of her life, and she isn't sure what'd she do without them. Personality wise she is very quiet, and only speaks to say odd things. She is supportive of people she loves and has a strong gift in encouragement, but the moments that this is displayed is so far and few between that some people wonder if her stark observations on people are just a myth made up by a bored sibling. When the moment strikes her, however, she has deep insight on the people she loves and can move her family to tears. She is incredibly tiny and very weak, and would fall easily in a fight. She is not prideful, and in fact is very self-deprecating, believing herself to have zero potential in life. She just kind of floats on and hopes for the best. She would get along most with Speare Fer, as they are both melancholic and distant-but-far type of people. For fun Emmalia likes to go on walks and simply observe, hence why she tends to get herself into dangerous waters.

Aka she's a good candidate for a tragic death because she's too spacey to realize she's in danger. Woo.

Character Ideas: A girl who takes her family's past really seriously, Hana has a hatred of the Capitol and what they began the bad luck of the family. Other than the Capitol, she loves to please and love everyone and everything. She uses a different surname, Williams, when around, as no one wanted to be related to the cursed family of Fer. She's fairly street-smart, looking after herself to try and prevent her being the next part of the "curse". She took it hard when people got reaped, as it felt to her that the Capitol were ripping families apart, like her own. As for her history, I don't mind family links much, so make her what you wish in relative terms. Also, she likes to play music, and plays the violin, which is one of her favourite hobbies, playing it in every spare minute she has. She is calm, and would defend someone vocally, unless provoked, where it may turn violent, especially if family is involved

She can't help but despise her own name. A part of her, however prominent it may be, knows well that the reason for this is not the others {they tend to distance themselves from her for they wish not to talk to such a resentful creature, hostility and bitterness rising with every step of her life and falling only when a chink is formed in her rock-hard demeanour} but herself.
