Vy Pryce
A break after everything that occurred sounds absolutely perfect...well at least it did when Vy was first informed that she had to remain in the hospital for a couple of days. Usually she's out after the longest a night, but apparently a bit more recovery is going to be needed this time around. Who would of thought the lack of enough blood could cause someone to pass out from an attempt to standup. And even more shocking these damn doctors are a lot more cautious towards wounded peacekeepers to. Guess keeping one of their soldiers in bed is more logical then sending them out too soon and risking permanent damage. Can't wait to thank them for the massive boredom they've created.
Not even an hour goes by until Vy's completely had it with staying in this room. It's not like sitting here is making her leg, or anything else for that matter, heal any quicker. Sure the doctor said straining the muscle would only make it worse, but there's hardly any muscle left anyways. Maybe rebuilding it will fix everything just as it always has for Vy in the past. And then again going against orders just isn't such a good idea, which only makes this all more frustrating.
If only she had been more on her game, none of this may of happened. Jins could of been handled better, and no one but him would be suffering right now. Yeah, that's exactly where Vy's mind goes in this horrible silence. Of course she's grateful that Matthew managed to finish what none of them could, but O'Rourke also took a bullet in the process. Their trustworthy, protective higher-rank wouldn't be on balance beam between life and death if Jins was just killed back in the woods. So many lives wouldn't of been at risk.
Staying in this quiet, blank room until she gets the approval to leave is not going to end well at this rate. Either she's going to need some company or some stronger drugs, and truthfully she prefers the second. Once a nurse comes in here she can complain about how the medicine isn't working, and seeing the door open causes more excitement then she's felt all day. No matter what it's something to take her mind off of this crap, for at least a few minutes.
