Mitzi Stahl
Riika Moffett
Mitzi and Riika have been together for seven years, married for five. They've had up times and down times, and have had two children together. As of now they are in love as if they were married yesterday. They have one surviving child named Koah, and another who died a few years ago who was named Caliph. You can read about it in Mitzi's bio.
Mitzi was once bolder and sterner, but when she met Riika she began to simmer down. Now she's quieter, but more compassionate. She's had both of their children and is pregnant right now. Mitzi's family shunned them for a long time but now accept them both and support them so they don't have to work so many jobs. Mitzi is mostly a stay-at-home mom and nowadays her father is at the house a lot to see Koah. Mitzi is twenty seven years old and married Riika when she was twenty-two.
Riika is a near opposite of Mitzi. She was crazy when she was very young, but spent most of the time between ages nine and eighteen very reserved and a little mousy. When she was nineteen her family disowned her when they discovered she did not intend to marry a man. She hasn't spoken to any of them since. When she met Mitzi she was twenty one and working selling vegetables. By that point she had toughened up and was a lot bossier. She has a constant need to be doing something, and when she's frustrated she has a tendency to throw herself into work. She wants the new child very much, but is afraid past will repeat itself and doesn't want to lose it. Riika developed a temper a few years ago, but it hasn't shown itself since she integrated herself into Mitzi's family. Riika is twenty eight.

I made Mitzi for Artemis' character Max Stahl. She is his closest sister. Max left seven years ago when he became a peacekeeper and she misses him a lot, though she doesn't talk about it. He's going to be reintroduced soon so I'm going to really want Riika to meet him.
----------------------
A brief history of Riika and Mitzi's relationship if you don't feel like reading the bio: They met while Riika was selling vegetables. Mitzi went multiple days in a row so she could see her more often, and Riika was curious and asked Mitzi for a date. They went out multiple times over the next year and a half and they mutually agreed (there was no "proposal") to get married. When they announced it to Mitzi's family they were rejected. They married after two years of knowing each other and bought sperm from a man they had to track down.
During Mitzi's pregnancy they lived in a fairytale. Riika decided to work three jobs, but she was constantly thinking of the baby and whenever she came home they would sit in the bedroom and go over their days. They ravished in everything a new marriage was, until their son Koah was born. Then Riika decided she wanted to be home to take care of him, but the income wouldn't be enough to take care of Koah. Mitzi was too attached to him to leave his side, and they fought over the matter for two months. Finally, Riika decided to give in to her and got a more stable job that paid fair. She came home around five every evening to take over watching Koah.
When Koah turned two Mitzi took a job at a bookstore, but it meant less time that Riika and her could spend time together, so Riika told Mitzi she wanted another child. Mitzi spent about two weeks trying to convince Riika to have the child, but she refused and eventually they took sperm from a man they didn't know very well and Mitzi was pregnant. The pregnancy was smooth like the first one, but not as fairytale. They had up days and down days, and increasingly more down days as Mitzi neared the ninth month.
Once Caliph was born the couple was able to work out a schedule. Riika was working mornings and Mitzi was working afternoons in the bookstore. They were a normal couple, as normal as they could be, and had many ups and few downs, downs that only lasted an hour if they came. Caliph died at one year old of a disease transferred from the man they had bought sperm from. Mitzi handled her grief by quitting the bookstore and devoting every moment to Koah. Riika took back her three job routine and became snappy and temper-prone.
Things gradually got tighter and tighter between the couple until Mitzi grew impatient with Riika and asked for a divorce. They would have gone through with it if Mitzi's father hadn't heard he had a grandson. Heinrich Stahl made his way over to the house to meet his grandson and belatedly congratulate them on their marriage. They were reminded of their love and talked it over the next few days, finally deciding to try to make their marriage work.
Riika wanted to integrate herself into Mitzi's family as soon as possible. Everyone seemed to accept her save the oldest sister Katja, who was barely around anyways. About seven months ago Riika set out on a search for a healthy man willing to sell his sperm to her. She found what she hoped for, and crossed her fingers when Mitzi attempted pregnancy again. Afterwards, with the support of a family, the two were able to make their marriage well again. With the support from Mitzi's family Riika doesn't have to work as much, and the two spend more time than ever together since their marriage.
