Near the train line in District 11 there is the Daltons house. Full of children, some of whom don't belong to Maia and her husband. Naturally, trouble and secrets are found within the walls of the house but will the tears forming in the family pull the house down or will
something much...much worse do so first?

Maia is the mother of the family, and you better know it. Married off at 17, Maia has a history of trust issues. Strict and hardworking, Maia is the perfect house wife and the scariest mother around. You better hope you do your homework because if you don't, you're likely to find Maia giving you a word or two about how education matters and how she wants the best for you.

Ava is the eldest child and by far the biggest handful despite her age. Always breaking the rules her mother sets for her, being excluded countless times for repetitive offences of fighting on school grounds and drinking cheap liquor when she gets the chance. Of course, the drinking isn't the only thing Ava hides from her mother- her girlfriend is another thing she keeps hidden under the rug. Ava's secrets are causing a rift between mother and daughter.

Franklin is the second eldest and the apple of his mothers eye. He beams happiness and loves to play in the field outside their home, pretending he's a peacekeeper, ready to save the day. That's all little Franky dreams about, becoming a peacekeeper one day when he is old enough. He dislikes how much his mother fusses over him greatly, without knowing how much danger he is in because he is now 12 years old.
