DISTRICT ONE TRIBUTE
R
U my name is drusilla bellatrix charlesburg,
S but don’t call me that--drusilla.
I i mean, i thought I had cleared up that one at the reaping
L lets starts this over, shall we? my name is dru
L and i am the district one tribute.
A i intend to win the games and come home a hero
B you might think i’m just a dumb career,
E but the words ‘dumb’ and ‘dru’ are not compatible.
L they just don’t go together.
L the words sadist, evil, or beautiful—
A now you’re talking about the real me
T so obviously i’m not into sweetening things up.
R if you’ve watched me on the tv,
I you may have noticed that i don’t mess around
X but if you were me, would you be a happy camper?
C i’m here now. life sucks, whatever,
H i got over that a long time ago.
A now im in the capitol having the time of my life
R but behind those blank blue eyes, sparks are flying
L i have a foolproof plan that’s going to take me to the top
E don’t say i didn’t warn all of you beforehand,
S when the ground is stained red with others blood
B and there is not one living creature left in the arena,
U nobody can say that dru charlesburg,
R winner of the hunger games
G did not say she was going to blow your minds
