‘Cause I’m on top of the world, ‘ay
I’m on top of the world, ‘ay
Waiting on this for a while now
Paying my dues to the dirt, 'ay
I’m on top of the world, ‘ay
Waiting on this for a while now
Paying my dues to the dirt, 'ay
I’ve been waiting to smile,
Been holding it in for a while, ‘ay
Take you with me if I can
Been dreaming of this since a child
I’m on top of the world.
Been holding it in for a while, ‘ay
Take you with me if I can
Been dreaming of this since a child
I’m on top of the world.
A gentle breeze flew through the air twirling around the red hair sitting on top a young boy's head. A grin as big as the sea spread across his face as the snowflakes landed on his face. Bursts of laughter escaped from somewhere deep inside, as Benny, and Patty drew him forward. Raiden wasn't any ordinary kid. Most of his time was spent locked inside his mind battling the monsters lurking beneath the abyss hidden inside his mind. Hands flew through the air mimicking the motions nobody else could see. Throwing them left and right, dodging the fire flying from the mouth of the horrible beast standing in front of him. Patty cheered the boy on until the behemoth beast was dead on the ground.
His feet pounded against the ground of the snow covered district square. Each individual step taking more and more energy. They were running for their lives, until his eyes landed on someone he had seen before. Stopping in his tracks, Raiden took a few deep breaths fighting to slow his breathing down from the battle he had one. Patty rests on his right shoulder as Benny slams into his back almost knocking him forward. His grin grew larger across his face, and his eyes danced joy. "Go see if the tiny boy wants to play with us." Patty's tiny voice rang through his ears as he turned to face her. Perhaps the boy would join their battles, and Raiden could have a real friend. Someone who didn't exist only inside his mind like Benny and Patty.
It was definitely worth a shot.
