It's back! We are proud to reveal that for the 1st Bonus Day of Ratmas, the HGRPG Writing Challenge is returning! For those of you that don't know, this is a monthly event in which each month the challenge, theme of the piece you will be writing, and the judging criteria will be different each month to cater to all the different strengths that members of the site have and to get everybody involved. The aim of this is to have some fun, get those creative juices flowing, recognize the amazing talent and improvement of our members and to praise writing not only just in role-play posts or biographies. We hope you enjoy this month's challenge! The judging criteria will change each month to cater to the challenge. So, for example, if your challenge is something along the lines of writing about emotion, we shall judge first, second and third place based on which submission truly captures the essence of emotion. But if the next challenge is poetry, we shall judge the entries based on which poems stand out to us and convey the writing codes used in poetry the most eloquently, etc. This allows everyone of all writing levels to have an equal chance of winning and not be put off by ‘more experienced writers’ entering. Incentive points shall be awarded to the respective winners each month.FIRST PLACE = 15 incentive pointsSECOND PLACE = 10 incentive pointsTHIRD PLACE = 5 incentive points
The challenge is to write a poem with a maximum of 100 words based on the theme of guilt. It doesn't have to rhyme, and can be in any style or format. You will be judged on how well you use 100 words (or there about) to “pack a punch” into your writing and the relevance that your piece has to the provided image. Submissions must be sent to Rook by January 8th and shall be judged by the staff. Regarding any queries you may have please contact Rook, or any of the other RP Tutors or Staff.Good luck, have fun, and enjoy!**********Hosted by the RP Tutors, template and original text by Zoë*tutor power theme song plays in the distance*
