The morning sun shines weakly through the window panes. Each long and lively beam casts an evergreen glow on Lapas' vibrant blonde locks. Her cheeks rosy pink with the warmth of night still wrapped around her. Her eyes begin to flutter open like that of an early morning butterfly awakening from its slumber. Then just like sleeping beauty and the stories of old Lapas rose from the crimson sheets of her bed and let a long passage of air flow from her lunges.

With a moan and her arms outstretched towards the white ceiling Lapas walked over to a large wooden white door. With a soft yank on its brass she pulled the door open with a long and eerie squeak. Lapas flinched at this noise since this time of morning was one she fretted. She wouldn't dare wake the dragon of her mother while she slept. She hated her enough anyway.

Treading lightly into the long closet filled with an array of vibrant and fashionable clothes Lapas scanned for one to wear. Her eyes finally fell on a light green short dress and with a golden ribbon around its waste. Pulling it from its sorted place a grin cracked her face. She would recognize her design anywhere. The fine handy stitching and the lovely uniqueness. Clothing was her world to express her art to the world, the only thing she ever really dared to show off about herself.

With a quick motion she pulled the elegant dress on and gently wrapped the golden ribbon. Wearing one of her own creations always made her smile. It let her imagine her dream of being a big clothing line creator like her father. Having all of Panem wearing her style. Becoming a star, and not a victor. With a giggle she picked up a brush and combed her locks of vines until they were straight and hung softly. Then with a smile she slipper her small feet into two small heeled white shoes.

With a twirl she looked at herself in the mirror and blushed a little. She always got so giddy whenever she was going to see Aaron. He caused her inner child to come climbing out of its cage within her to play again. However, this wasn't over some game of kickball but of love. Just thinking of Aaron's touch made her heart escalate in a beautiful crescendo. Her lips quivered at his title of her boyfriend now. For a long month of loveliness and happiness she had been with him, her lover, her savior, her Aaron.

Just then her stomach gave a hard twist and heave. Except this wasn't a heave of butterflies but one of violent pain. She felt her insides rushing towards the surface ready to make an appearance. Running as quickly as she could she scrambled in her heels to the nearest bathroom. There she proceeded to up-heave what looked like some sort of revolting mush. "What the hell?" She mutter while washing her mouth out.

These weird throw up moments had been happening shockingly frequent lately. Yet she knew she just had to have a little bug surely. Nothing else would make her throw up that she could think of.

With a startle she looked down at her golden watch and saw the time. With her eyes wide she grabbed a nice purse and dashed out of her house. She would be late for breakfast with Aaron at this rate.

She made no haste running through the richer part of district one and into the always interesting square. Thankfully the games were over along with the tour so she could go on with her own personal devices. Instead of cheering for some tribute or another to kill.

Finally seeing the cafe she smiled and pushed the glass door open. Immediently the aromas of different breads and soup washed over her causing her now empty stomach to bark for forgiveness. Obeying its commands she made her way over to a small table for two and order some tea. Then with her tea warming her hands of the cold winter breezes she turned and looked out the window awaiting Aaron's arrival.

OOC-Sorry forgot this was Blitz but after this post it will all be short I promise xDDD

District 1

I look at my body in the mirror and see the perfect career body. I have muscles in all the right places. I could truly protect lapas. I know that I can. My eyes make my way to my face, but its like going from a clear sunny day with no clouds in sight with the sun beating down but not so much that one is sweating, to a day with storm clouds up ahead. Rain already pouring down. Thunder waiting to come and scare the people inside. The people is Lapas. What if she realized my face was not attractive enough for her? What if she did not pay attention to my face all those times that we have seen each other? What if she noticed this time? I find myself biting my lip back in place again. I watch as the blood comes dripping down. My face went from bad to worse. Not only was my mouth still crooked but now it would be scabby. This may be a time when I don't want to kiss her. I don't want her to have to deal with kissing me, when I had freshly opened scabs on my mouth.

Once they finally are done bleeding I go to my brown ugly eyes. They shine like rotten wood covered with mold. I decide to ignore that part of myself seeing as I can't even think of illogical way to fix that trait. Then my ears. I have always like my short hair cut before so as to allow my hair not get in away of wrestling, but now thinking that I have a girlfriend I realize perhaps my exhibition of my ears was a bad thing. Do girls like to see ears? I wonder to myself. Is she okay with it? I roll my eyes. I decide to fix it with a base ball hat.

Once I found the fedora that my Dad gave to me as a at the time useless gift I looked at the mirror again. I was wearing a nice dress shirt with a leather jacket and jeans. I don't exactly know if this matched or if it was even acceptable for the café that we ( The thought of we lit up my heart like a hundred fire flies lighting up the night sky.) were going to but I guess we could find out. I honestly wanted everything to be perfect for Lapas. Every moment of every date.. Hell even her whole life to be perfect even if I am not with her at the moment, but most importantly when I am with her. I want her to see that she needs me. That she wants me. Most importantly that she wants me to hers. Hers forever.

I run down the stairs with my parents giving me questioning looks I run out the door. I never have told them about that night. I never really tell them much anymore. Not that I said much before. Now I guess its like a cell of a needle amount as compared to a actual needle amount. I shrug it off. I keep a pretty consistent pace as I make my way through the streets. People looked at me like I was crazy or something for being happy today. My smile was abnormally big today I guess I could give them that, but still I suppose people are still mad that district one did not win the games this year. Does it matter? Not for me it does not. If anything it diminishes the amount of people at the career academy because it reminds people that district one wins still don't happen every games. So parents think more before sending kids to the academy/ even pull them out. What ever less competitions for me. I bang my hand against the sign as I walked. The throbbing pain died away quickly. Still I felt the need to give a innocent bystander a glare of anger.

After my little dispute with the stop sign and short lived war against the innocent bystander, I find myself at the café that we were supposed to meet at. I smile as I enter the door, but am quickly stopped by the host as he points at my head. As in my hat. As in the thing protecting my ears from showing. I clinch my hands. Frankly I am ready to get in trouble. To make myself trouble. But then I catch eyes with her. Lapas. I am a bit disappointed realizing I was not the first here but my heart still skips a beat. She was here. She showed. Now I realized that I was actually scared that she may not show. I realize how lucky I am so I unclench my hands. I take off my hat and hand it to the host. I point towards the table Lapas was sitting at to show the host that I am the one who should be sitting on the chair across from her. Looking at those sweet green eyes. Staring at the sweet blonde hair. I they instruct me to go sit there. I nod and make my way to her. Suddenly I am regretting not bringing her flowers or chocolates or something to show her that I care for her. That I love her. I came a foot away and now could see her sweet face. I smile the biggest smile I have ever smiled. " Hi." I say under my breath. Not sure what else to say. Not sure if I could say it if it came to mind.

The tea was warming her insides as she had hoped and her gaze lifted to a nearby television. She saw Patricia in yet another district, four she believed. Yet again she was reciting the same old speech that she did here in one except with different names. It always annoyed Lapas how the speeches never varied but then again she was sure President Snow didn't allow it.

Unlike all the other Capitol wanna-bes here in District One she could see right through that old man's gaze. He was a snappish devil holding complete brutal control over the districts. For example, he could have ended the games long ago but yet here they were. Preparing for yet another games while more children prepared to be butchered live in front of the entire viewing world. How lovely.

Swiftly Lapas' eyes changed directions to the door as Aaron fumbled in and nearly got into another scirmish with the host. Shooting him a glare to knock it off Lapas waited for him to come over. When he finally came over and sat down she streatcher her arms out and grabbed his hands. Then she leaned forward and pecked his lips.

"Hello my prince." She whispered with a giggle.

My smile tilts a bit closer to a frown when her eyes light up at my appearance, making me feel even more like a jack a**. Why did I not think to bring her something? I sigh and try and give a bigger smile even though I was worried. I was worried that she was going to change her mind about being with me, I know its been "settled." but perhaps she will wake up and realize that I am not what she wants. That me the anti talking, brute career boy is too abnormal for her. That I am too weird for her. I give my best attempt at a complete smile as I think about this and sit down in my chair across from hers. I find myself holding my hands out in a cup formation for hers to hold. Hoping that she will be willing to put her hands on mine. It was almost as if one can interpret that I did not have to offer her anything, that she actually was forcing her hands on mine as she briskly pull my hands to hers and gave me a gentle kiss. "Hello my prince"

That word, my referring to me gives me some more confidence and my cheeks turned a bit red for a second. I was hers. I nod at the waiter when he asked if I would like some water with lemon. What can I say, I still had to keep up my physical physique even if I was not sure anymore. After the waiter had left I find myself staring into her eyes. I am lost for words.. not that it meant much for me but I actually had something beautiful to look at instead of talking. I find myself Rubbing her smooth petite hands in my rough dry hands. I was in a trance a bit as I spoke. " How can you possibly be mine?" I said in a soft voice for her to only hear, wondering what the other part of me had actually spoken. How was the question, and I was sure the answer was complicated.

Excitement coursed through Lapas' limbs as she smiled gently at Aaron from across the table. How in the world she had earned a person as amazing as him she would never truly know. He was so unique from all the other jocks that swarmed the streets of this vibrant district. He wasn't nearly as obsessive with the entirity of being a career and all of that stuff. No he enjoyed subtle things in life besides killing, like her. That was the true reason that their hearts were so aligned. Since his wasn't as shrouded in the darkness that pain and death brought.

With a slight laugh she looked back at him after his ridiculous question about how she could possibly be his. She simply rolled her electrified eyes towards him and flciked his wrist. "I ask myself how I can possibly be yours all the time. I suppose its just because that's how the cards played out, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way." Lapas eyes gleamed brightly at him as suddenly felt her stomach heave. She gritted her teeth and tried her best not to show the fight on her face. She refused to throw up right now. Whatever the hell was wrong with her would just have to wait for another hour until her date was concluded.
