Come little children
I’ll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
I’ll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
All over the Capitol, children have gone missing. These are not teenagers, the type who might run off and live on their own. Each child is no older than eleven and come from every economic standing. No one knows where these children go, all they know is that they are goneand most likely dead.Come little children
The time’s come to play
Here in my garden of shadows
Hidden in a massive warehouse, owned by a mysterious rich person, are the children. The face of this stranger is a woman named Polly, around the age that most of their mother's were and very kind. She refers to the mysterious person simply as Himself, and tells the children nothing about him. Everything was alright in the beginning, they had food and pillows and blankets, and Polly would come in to tuck them in at night even though they slept on a rug with no proper beds anywhere. New children would be brought in every other day or so, until suddenly the arrivals stopped.
The next day was the final time that Polly came. Only this time she wasn't the Polly they remembered; she was nasty, and she had a look on her face that made them all nervous. It was then she told them that this was all a game. She sneered as she compared it to the Hunger Games that the Districts participated in. Only there was a twist: they didn't have to kill one another. Why, asked one child. Polly laughed as she replied that it was because Himself would kill them and their only goal was to be the last one alive.
Now the children have been left alone in the warehouse for two days, with only a dwindling water supply and no food. In order to survive they have to traverse the warehouse - a massive place covering around 15 acres - and find what few life saving things are around. Mostly, though, there are only hidden traps and terrors. Sometimes barking can be heard from a far area of the warehouse, sometimes something even more sinister. At night more than one of the children had the terrible feeling of being watched and as time goes by each of them is coming to the realization that they're all going to die.
Even though the little voice in each of their minds is saying all but one.
Follow, sweet children
I’ll show thee the way
Through all the pain and the sorrows
I’ll show thee the way
Through all the pain and the sorrows

AlbiaOlivia (bio) {age 9} - While not the oldest of the children, Albia is a clear leader. Quickly she has taken a stand on the side of trying to escape and is trying to gather the others to her cause. She can be highly stubborn and believes that she knows what is best in all situations. While this may work to get some of the weaker-willed children, it drives some of the more confident kids away from her leadership. No one knows what to do, but Albia likes to tell the others that she does. [Taken by Mylee]
Camilla {age 10} - As one of the oldest children there, Camilla feels that she needs to fill the roll of caretaker for the really young ones. She also hopes to support everyone to keep them from giving up, and the unspoken threat of the group splitting up has her on edge because she has a gut feeling that if they break up now they will all die. To her there is a possibility that they could all get out alive - they only have to stay together and think about what to do to escape. [Taken by N/A]
Cyprian Achluo (bio) {age 8} - Despite being more towards the middle of the age group, Cyprian feels like he's less of a help than even the youngest of them. He has a huge fear of the dark, and the warehouse has a horrible creepy factor to it that leaves him in an almost constant state of fear. Even Camilla's coaxing doesn't help, instead making him more sure that he's worthless to the others. [Taken by Ems]
Decimus (bio) {age 9} - Decimus is determined to show the others that he is brave, and compared to some of the others he most certainly is. Still, it's a close line between bravery and stupidity, a lesson he has yet to learn unfortunately, and it causes him to be rather reckless in his attempts to prove himself. Whatever his intent, he wants to let the others know that they can rely on him. He's a big boy, he can protect them. [Taken by Arrows]
Ezio Laskaris (bio) {age 11} - As the oldest, Ezio feels both a sense of responsibility and revulsion towards the other children. Having been an only child, he has never had to deal with being so near others - especially those younger than him - for more time than he had wished to. Now, stuck with the label of "eldest" he has to get over his own dislike of his fellows - some more than others - in the hopes of keeping them alive and together. Of course, he also realizes that if all of the others die then he will be the last one left, and Polly had hinted that the last person would live. [Taken by Kire]
Felix Caverly (wip) {age 7} - Felix has the bad habit of always wanting to seem important. It's to a point where he always jumps into conversations and says things he doesn't mean or can't back up just to seem like he knows more than he does. Though he's younger than most of the more "leader-like" children, he feels like everyone should follow him. [Taken by Anzie]
Gaia {age 6} - As one of the youngest, Gaia knows that she needs to pull some weight or else the others will simply think she is a burden. She also knows that she could be a big help to them if they would only realize. Despite her size and age she is quite intelligent and good at solving problems. Eventually she'll make them see. [Taken by N/A]
Livia {age 8} - Livia is a know-it-all. Just because her father is some important big-shot lawyer, she thinks that she can solve every problem and knows more than the rest of them put together. She doesn't, of course, and secretly she realizes that. That just makes her more determined to make the others think she in fact does, and the result of such is that she rarely stops talking. Between half-right facts and handfuls of her own opinions stuffed down the other's throats, it's a wonder anyone can get a word in edgewise. [Taken by N/A]
Marius {age 5} - Third youngest, Marius is one of the few that feels like he doesn't have a role to fill. In fact, he is one of the calmer of the children and the most at ease. His mother being an alcoholic and his father mostly away for business, he is used to being treated roughly by adults. Due to his more relaxed nature, he is able to observe everyone and everything with only a little bias. Compliant with most of the demands made of him, he may well be the easiest to get along with. [Taken by N/A]
Vita {age 5} - Vita is rather oblivious to everything that is going on. If anything, she is the least aware out of them all over what exactly is going on. She wonders where Polly wentand if she wants a cracker, always waiting for the woman to return and tuck them in at night. Somewhat stuck in this way of thinking, she will fight anyone who tries to tell her otherwise or to get her to leave her spot on the rug. She insists that she must stay or else where will Polly find her? Oh the ignorance of a child. [Taken by N/A]
Philo {age 2} - No one knows why Polly and Himself kidnapped Philo as he was barely old enough to tell them his name, let alone make his way through whatever hell Himself had set up. Either way, they all knew that he was a member of their group as everyone else was and they couldn't leave him to die by himself. Besides, he had the habit of clinging to the pants or skirt of whoever was near him and not letting go. If they were going to go anywhere they would probably end up literally dragging him with them anyway. [NPC]

PLEASE NOTE:
Some of these characters WILL DIE. If you do not want to lose your character then I advise you to not sign up. As well, if you will have trouble with these children coming to gruesome deathsnot like this whole site isn't like thatthen please do not sign up or read the threads. While I don't have everything thought up, I do have some rather dark ideas already.
You have been warned.
As well, these characters names are not final, but I would like to keep to the theme of Roman or Latin names as they fit with the fact that these are children from the Capitol.
Hush now, dear children
It must be this way
