Duncan Almstedt (D1) - complete

He has sandy blonde hair that bleaches considerably in the sun. Depending on his mood he lets it grown to his shoulders no matter what people might think about it or buzzes it all off when he’s had enough. The girls surely like the longer version but since Duncan has never had any problems finding interested females he doesn’t really care all that much. His eyes are almost too small but have a very cool, pale blue shine to them.
The rest of his face doesn’t stand out unless you take a closer look and notice that his nose isn’t super straight thanks to one of the many fist fights he got in.

Physically Duncan got very lucky. He’s got all the good genes that enable him to become a career. In other words he’s build like a brick shit house. Especially his back and arms are incredibly strong. Where others have to work like horses his good genes enable him to build up a massive amount of muscles. His physique makes him look quite intimidating and he knows it. Duncan puts a lot of work into his work out to stay in this kind of shape.
He likes dressing casual in jeans and a t-shirt. A leather band with a ring of his surrogate mother complete the picture.

Duncan in a nutshell: He’s a goofball that occasionally, when faced with the wrong kind of guy, will explode and rearrange your face in a heart beat.

Usually he’s a very mild mannered, good natured guy, who generally gets along with a lot of people as long as they respect him. He loves playing practical jokes on people and goofing around. Mostly he treats girls the same way and doesn’t really get when they aren’t interested in being ‘buddies’ but actually want more. Once he gets the notion he can be quite the devoted boyfriend. He’s not very experienced in that area though.

Duncan doesn’t necessarily show the right devotion to school or anything but his training. Fighting and working out to be a great career is the center of his life.
Under the wrong circumstance he has a violent streak. If people talk down to him or challenge him to a fight he will let them have it. Sometimes he doesn’t know when to stop, which has gotten him in trouble before when he beat a guy almost unconscious. A brief stay in the dc set him straight- at least for a little while.

His greatest weakness however- and his greatest asset- is the will to help people in need. His surrogate parents have instilled that in him at a very early age. Duncan will do anything for a person in need. Even if it means leaving his own needs behind. People, who know that, might abuse this character trait.

Duncan was adopted as a baby. His parents told him right from the start that they weren’t his birth mom and dad but never treated him any different than their daughter. They gave all their love to the little boy, whose mother was way too young to take care of the twin boys she gave birth to. She had no choice but to give both up to a foster home.
Duncan met his birth mom a few times. He has a good relationship and no hard feelings against her but he also let her know that his PARENTS are the ones who are raising him. One thing he never dared to do is go and find out what happened to his brother. He half expects to run into him one day. Would he recognise him though? Is he a fraternal twin? Does he look the same? Is his character similar? Those questions keep coming up more and more the older he gets.
The one time he tried to get information all he found out was that the foster home he spent his first weeks in had been shut down years ago.

Duncan spent most of his time either in school, on the football field, hanging out with friends and mostly at the career center.
He was never very ambitious in school, or maybe just not smart enough to have great marks. Either way he didn’t care because he was going to be the one victor from d1.

His parents didn’t like that option very much and tried to encourage him to become something a little more substantial (maybe because they were afraid to loose him) but he wouldn’t listen, which held a great potential for conflicts at home.
