Cendrine Lynette - Capitol

Cendrine is quite beautiful for her old age. She has pale white skin that has less wrinkles than one might expect, but enough to clearly convey her age. Cendrine likes to keep her hair relatively short, just around her shoulders. She usually uses some money regularly to purchase hair dye to give her hair a dirty blonde look. Usually it ends up just looking like blonde with brown highlights. But she insists on calling it dirty blonde.

Cendrine's eyes really stand out to one. They are the parts of her body that give her true age away. They're a dull blue, almost grey, and they convey a true sense of knowledge. But the knowing behind her eyes seems to come not from wisdom, but from pain. They show that she is weak, not because she has had a difficult life, but because she has always been denied one thing. One thing that she strives for with all of her might. This is also shown through her body, which appears beautiful at first, but if you inspect it, you can clearly see it has been wearied by time.

Cendrine's personality is a powerful one. The thing that strikes you first about her is her intense desire for the next thing. She does not like to sit and wait for thing to come to her, she much rathers getting off of her butt and going to grab them herself. This often can scare off some people, but she refuses to change for them. She will get and do what she wants because that will make her happy. She's always determined that the next thing will make her happier. But she knows that she can't distract herself from what she really wants, which is unobtainable, until now.

The next layer of her personality is her sweetness, which comes with her old age. After you've dug down past the fiery opinions and desires, she very much like a typical old lady. She enjoys relaxing and just spending time with her husband. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and children. After all, she did have the money for it. But she misses them so greatly now that she can't see them anymore. The pain makes her almost want to go back, but she stays strong, knowing that she'll never be truly happy unless she achieves this goal. After she's achieved the goal, maybe she can find a way to get them here. A way to reunite her with her family. Give them a better life.

At the final major layer of Cendrine's personality is her weariness and weakness. This is displayed through her looks more evidently, but this layer of Cendrine's personality has only ever been revealed to herself. Over the years, she's grown tired. She's gotten everything she's wanted, worked so hard to get it, too. But she still doesn't have that dream house. The one that she has dreamed of since she was only a toddler. This has been hard on her, because she's fixated on it. She's been telling herself all of these years that once she gets that house, she will finally be happy. Not just really happy, but completely and utterly happy.

Ever since Cendrine was just a little District Six girl, she's known exactly what she's wanted. She even made a checklist. She fixated on the checklist at that point her childhood. She revered it as if it were her bible. She never let it go, keeping it with her wherever she went. Even into her teenage years, she kept the list with her. Finally, when Cendrine got married, she was able to check off two of the items on her checklist: be rich, get a husband. She had always pictured herself making her fortune, but she was just as content not doing any work for it. Besides, she loved her husband.

As her life went on, she checked off more things. She had kids, both genders, and they grew up and are still living. She had grandchildren. But no matter how many things she added and checked off on the list, she never had one thing: her dream house. That's what she wanted. That's what she needed. But it was impossible to get a dream house in the districts. Totally impossible. She was losing her beauty with her growing age, and she knew the longer she waited, the less time she had. The less and less likely she was to be able to check off that final thing on her list.

So she decided she was going to. She found a group of people to do it with her. She couldn't tell her family, no. They'd think she was crazy. They'd get worried, maybe even lock her up for having such thoughts. But Cendrine couldn't die without having checked the item off of her list. It was just essential. With that group, she fled to the Capitol, never looking back and never saying goodbye to her family. She might get to see them again, that's what let her do this to them. She had to tell herself that she would see them again. After she had made a life for herself in the Capitol, she would bring them. And then they'd live happily ever after in the Capitol, nobody knowing any better.
