"Can you tell me your name please?"

My name is Kaolyinne Averial Mauren Danmusk. I know it sounds strange for a district eleven girl to wear, but my mother chose Kaolyinne for its roots in purity, honesty and strength. Perhaps she thought a name would protect me.

"And how old are you?"

I am sixteen, my birthday is August 16th, during the season of everlasting sun.

"Which gender do you classify yourself as?"

I am both born and physically female.

"Your district or area?"

I am from district eleven, from one of the poorer settlements within the district. Our house is surrounded by orchards and fields, I just have to step outside and already nature is at my feet.

"Please describe your appearance."

My appearance... I suppose I should start from the very beginning. Unlike most people in my district, I am pale like a ghost. The sun only gently caresses my skin, it does not burn it dark during the long summer months but brings on millions of golden freckles that speckle my face and arms. I am quite tall, five feet, seven inches which makes me ideal for picking fruit from trees, although wheat harvest is particularly demanding on my back. My weight however, is worrying. I weigh just under 120 pounds due to malnutrition, but my weight is mostly comprised of muscle. My body has developed lean strings of muscle fibre from years of work and climbing trees, each one is a tightly coiled spring of strength an energy. My BMI is 18.8, which places me just within the normal weight category. This muscle is distributed evenly through my body, my legs are long and powerful, making up most of my height. These legs will carry me throughout my life and have never been known to falter, even in the face of utter exhaustion. My stamina has kept me going through long summer days of harvest, carrying me from tree to tree, field to field. This means that I can keep going for a long time, but speed does also lend itself nicely to my figure. I am slim and light, enough to be deft and quick on occasion, but to no admirable extent.
