Thanatos Jackson-- District 6 Male

Thanatos is a small, slender boy with long fingers and short figure. He has light blonde hair that is extremely grown out and shaggy, always hiding his crazed brown eyes. Extremely scrawny, he is extremely silent in his movements and always hiding his hands, which are always active on something, usually spinning a sharpened dagger or fiddling with a mirror he carries around. He is constantly looking at himself in the mirror.

Thanatos looks like a homeless kid (which he happens to be). He always wears rags and dirty clothing that has never been cleaned. Thanatos' crazed eyes are unnerving, always calculating how to mutilate someone one way or another. He always has an evil grin plastered onto his face, and he laughs at inappropriate moments. He has horozontal scars on his wrists from his multiple self-inflicted cut wounds- although it wasn't intended to be a suicide attempt. . .

Thanatos is a very antisocial person, always analyzing ways to mutilate and maim an innocent person. He listens to the trio of voices in his head, all egging him on to do horrible things. . . and he listens. He likes to make cause discomfort, easily achieved by talking about his 'friends' inside his head. he constantly will make random comments on how easily it is to end a human life. His desires are usually to consume blood.

His three voices are:

ONYX: The troublemaker of the three, always egging Thanatos to kill or maim something. He is easily the most evil one. He causes Thanatos to maim innocent animals like squirrels and birds, cut them open, and consume there blood.

THEODORE (Thanatos calls him Theo): Theodore is easily the rarest voice Thanatos hears. He only comes in when Thanatos performs his horrific acts and tells him the best ways to do next. He will point out ways to make the most blood poor. After the act is performed, Theo will leave and not return until provoked again.

LILA: Lila is the most peaceful out of the three. She tells Thanatos the best ways not to get caught doing the horrific things, and calms Thanatos out of his Psychotic fits that he occasionally has. Lila will constantly tell Thanatos she loves him. And, although Thanatos doesn't realize it, Lila is his lost mother.

Thanatos tries his best to avoid other human beings. He will isolate himself away from anybody he will try to socialize with. If he is forced into a situation where he has to interact with somebody, he will react rudely and try to escape the situation. His excuse is always the same: 'I have to go with my friends.' Thanatos always has a knife on him, and if somebody is being mean or horrible to Thanatos, he isn't afraid to stab him/her and dash away. He will become violent in a heartbeat, and he never feels guilty or bad about what he does. After he does what he wants to do, he will sneak away easily and usually never get caught, as he knows all the back streets.

Thanatos has never felt the grace of love, and the word isn't even in his dictionary. When he sees a family or a couple he will immediately label them as gullible or stupid or both. But it's not jealousy exactly, it's more or less a pity. He considers his voices 'family'.

Thanatos interest include few things, mostly stealing and the thrill of getting away with it. he loves the thrill of invading somebodies privacy and keeping it for his own. He loves it so much he will steal it and return it to relive the thrill. He has never been caught, because he moves so silently. His other interest is learning anatomy from a book he stole from an Institute professor before.

Thanatos has good side, though it is only used when Lila is in his head. She voices reason. When the elderly woman across the street threatened to call Peacekeepers, Thanatos became immediately likable, but only for his own good. He acts nice when it will benefit him, and never anything else. While Onyx will tell Thanatos to attack or cause harm to the elderly lade, Lila will tell him all the right things to do and how to say them.

Thanatos was dropped off when he was a year old at a orphanage, covered in head to toe in blood. No-one knew the cause of Thanatos abandonment, or whose blood it was, but Thanatos was raised in the orphanage. From there, Thanatos began showing signs of his unstable mind. Killing a squirrel in the courtyard and then laughing about it later. Slashing the tires of all the orphanage buses so no-one could leave. The last straw was Thanatos cutting his wrists and drinking his own blood. Even though he was only 8 at the time, the orphanage sent him to a mental institution.

The institution was worse. They locked him in a room by himself, having nothing to do. That's when the voices started, but only Lila at first. When an attendant came to feed him, Thanatos was hiding. When the nurse looked under the bed, Thanatos jumped at her, taking her by surprise, and immediately bit her in the throat, and she was seriously injured, and she passed out. When the other nurses came, Thanatos was once again cloaked in blood, grinning and playing with the bloody, unconscious body. That's when the other two voices began. None of the nurses would attend to Thanatos after that incident, and the Institute was under heavy fire for the injury of a nurse. The Institute president, to avoid further controversy, claimed they sent him to the Capitol for further analysis, but instead, Thanatos escaped, let go by a nurse who knew the horror the Capitolites would perform on him there. The Institute never saw him again.

Thanatos began living on the streets, all alone. He found a house that was partially burned down and lived in that ever since. Occasionally he would kill wildlife. He has a sharp dagger he stole and a mirror he found in the burnt house to remind himself what he looks like, as he frequently forgets. He gets food from an elderly woman across the street in which he acts nice to benefit himself. The elderly woman has threatened to call Peacekeepers, until Thanatos made her like him through sympathy and acting nice. She feeds him and promises not to call Peacekeepers, but she still thinks about it. . .
