Appearance:  Marina has thick brownish-black hair with lots of light red highlights.  She is 5 feet tall and wears her hair in buns and ponytails.  She has slightly tan skin and a no freckles.  She has bluish-gray eyes.  She has short and thick bangs.
     She is considered average in looks.  She is slightly muscular but don't let her body fool you her brain is a intense weapon.  She has a weird smile.  She has thin lips as well.  She has short and thin eyelashes too.  She has a friendly  appearance. 
Personality:  She is very kind and courageous.  She is very cunning and intelligent. She is hard working and also loves nature.  She is slightly a tom-boy.  She loves doing hair and is very good at it.  She is quiet around people she doesn't  know.  She is very outgoing and social around her friends though.

    Because of this many people look up to her.  She gets good grades but has to work in the fields so she doesn't get in as much anymore.  She loves animals and some people think she can communicate with them.  She can be hot headed though and a little frightened. 
History:  She started working in the fields when she was eight.  She has one twin brother named Jack Grindred.  Her mother and father are doctors and healers so she has mild experience with treating wounds.  Her oldest sister was once reaped and killed when she was 5.  

    She has many love interests.  But many of them think she is a  attention hog.  Since her older brother Jack is accident-prone she tries to look after him.  Her family I less poor then the other families in District 9. 

    Ever since her sister died in the Hunger Games she as taken more jobs.  She can't die or she will leave the wheat farm up to her only sibling and parents.  Plus she needs to see them again.  She can't die now.
Weapon:  knife or axe but mostly her intelligent mind and poisonous plants.
