Thoughts in the forest

The forest was quiet today. No animals came by. I come out of my hiding place, glad that we have food in the house. I live in District 12. The Capitol is unfair to s. They have makeup, wigs (not that i want them), clothes, and great food. We have nothing. I am not saying we all need to be equal. Every great civilization in the history in the world has had a leader. OK, maybe Panem is not great, but it could be. If the Capitol didn't have the Games, and gave us better living places, it'd be great. If we actually stood up and won, we would last as long as Rome. I walk along the grass and sticks until I see a dark blue flower, growing with many yellow flowers. I sigh and pick the flower. If a hero stood up, and persuaded all the other people that don't try to stop the torture, we would be free. I go under the fence and run home. I wish I, Yuki Miller, could do that. But like all of the uprisings in the past, its going to be harder than the Jews going against Egypt. I walk along and then I think. Leading a revolution? Ha! That's about as likely as winning the Hunger Games.
