The Four Wives [Open] District 10

The Fiskes aren't very much liked by the rest of their district, but live in comfort seperated from the rest of the community. Atlas was raised by his father to believe a man deserved multiple wives as reward for being wealthy. While not a common belief in district 10, there were other existing families that held similar views. As well as enough blackmail to earn Atlas his fourth wife - though that is a story for another day.

Atlas is intelligent, sly, and brutally honest... most of the time. He inherited all of his father's wealth two years ago, and has done wonders with it. He owns a massive farm, divided into five sections. The workplace, and lots right next to each other for each of his wives. He strives to make them happy, though he can sometimes be oblivious of obvious issues. He can feel quite self entitled, though his father taught him any way he knew how to get what he wanted. He is not legally married to any of his wives, though he considers each of them true.

Camerie wasn't raised like Atlas, though she was convinced when she met him that she could love him enough so that he would never need another wife. They married when they were both twenty. For five years it seemed like he never would, but after three children he explained to her that he'd fallen in love with another. It tore her apart when he married Emese, but she loved him too much to leave him. Her jealousy turned her bitter, and she's never stoped feeling like she was robbed of a chance at true love.

Emese was twenty-three when she married Atlas and already felt like an old maid. She'd been raised wealthy, similar to him, and though it made sense for men to be entitled as he was. When she discovered he already had a wife, she disregarded it because her desire for a family was larger. She wanted children, and he could give her that. She could ignore Cam's glares as long as she had her children. Her six beautiful children... but only the three that survived.

Ariadne came from a violent family. She was rarely showed an ounce of love from her parents or any of her siblings, and had to pick scraps to keep herself going. When she met Atlas, he treated her well and made her feel comfortable. Hungry for love, she disregarded his other wives and married him after only two months of dating. After a year of marriage she discovered her love for women was a little different than what she felt towards men, and has since been covering her affairs by showering Atlas in flirty dialogue. Only Emese knows of her side-girls, and most definitely does not approve.

Its been five years, and Cwen and Atlas are yet to consumate their marriage. Cwen's family owed a humongous debt to the Fiskes, and he agreed to forget about it if they gave their beautiful young daughter to him. He loved her, but felt wrong utilizing what his father had taught for such a thing. Cwen has remained shy and withdrawn from the other wives, spending a lot of time roaming the property for things to look at. She refuses to let herself feel anything for any of the people that have come into her life since she married Atlas.
