In the Darkness (goddess blitz)

Serena was walking towards school, her head down. The streets of district six weren't exactly the safest, especially with all the peacekeepers around. The sun hadn't even risen yet. The sky was still a dark shade of polluted black. Her eyes proved about like security cameras, she couldn't let anyone suspicious near her. She shouldn't let anyone near her really. That's what happened with Lucian. A good older brother who got into the wrong group of people and was carted away by the peacekeepers.

Serena's mind was now filled with images of her kind older brother smiling down at her. She missed him so very much and hated the peacekeepers for even daring to try and take him away from her. Suddenly, she heard a sound and her head whipped around. Her fingers curled around the dirtied straps of her backpack. "Who, who's there." She said in her shy, small voice to the Darkness. This would go badly. She just knew it. Everything here went badly.
