In the Moonlight (Ghosty)(blitz)

The night time was a time that you dreaded. When there was no one around to comfort you when the kraken came to you, and no one to come around and stop the rocking that you can never stop. And still, the sound the the sea always calls you. Even after it's fucked you around so much. And, you fall back into the trait of going to the sea to calm down. But this time, well, it's not to calm down. It's to swear to the monsters in the ocean. To leave you the fuck alone. 

There was too short a distance to the sea for the smell of salt to ever leave you, and the damp sand of the beach only expanded the smell. And you still crave the intensity, to let it fill inside your mind, forgetting about the monster inside your mind. And the feeling of sand between your toes relaxes you, and finally, it clears, and you are free for the moments, when you could be the little boy you were, amazed by the sea. 

And the noise of another person breaks it for you.

You walk towards them, and sink onto the ground. The tears are rolling off your cheeks, as you open your mouth. 'I saw a kraken, you know that?' And you know that she won't, she won't understand a fucking thing.

A look of shock was upon the girl in front of you. And she replied, 'Sure you did. And I'm a pink unicorn pooping rainbows.' And the sarcasm was pooling around, just like the sea on a still day. And she didn't understand, understand the fear that it pumped through you. The girl was merely ignorant to the fact that you have living proof of the monster below. The girl needed her eyes opening. 'There is no need for the sarcasm. One of them tried to kill me, it did. There are things inside that sea that'll shock you.' And still, the tears fall upon the sand below you, leaving little dark patches upon it. You have to let all the fear go into this girl, so you feel free again. 'My name is Kip. If you were wondering.' You knew she wasn't, but after all, you want to open up to her your fears. And a name always helps everything.
