3,2,1,GO! I raced though the paths of the forest attempting to beat a imaginary me following the same path. Over the log, under the branch, faster, faster,FASTER! The wind racing though my hair as I turned into the second corner. The path had existed for as long as I remembered, as a kid I would explore it and follow it as far as it went. And as a wanderer I used this path to go into the town without looking suspicious. My wandering mind was quickly brought back to reality as I stumbled over a rock and began to fall, luckily I managed to right myself. "Alright Mylies, pay attention to the path", I told myself as I jumped across a small stream.
I quickly glanced at my watch to check how I'm doing,'damn it, Im a coupe seconds behind, better pick up the pace'. Doing so put me at a risk as my current pace was already dangerous on a uneven road. Never the less, a time is a time. As I neared the town I could begin to hear faint sounds of the town, and the rhythmic beats of the lumberjacks. A life I could of had. Oh well. As I ran I could feel my bow and knife bumping against me with every step, the bow hanging on my back and my knife strapped to my pants.
Turning another corner I began to wonder again, thinking about the beautiful weather and how nice district 7 always was this time of year. As I became distracted from what I was doing I didn't notice the person infront of me chopping wood until it was too late, and apparently neither did she. At the last second I registered a person and attempted to stop but I was mere feet away and slammed into her at full force causing me to hit the ground and slide on my front for a couple of yard before coming to rest on the ground, my face now somewhat bloody and bruised. As quickly as I could I stood up and went over to the girl,"Are you all right!?".
