Small But Big // CAP R1 Gala Vs Xander

Xander could feel his adrenaline pumping through his blood like some kind of massive energy boost. With every daunting and echoing step he took into the labyrinth Xander could hear the din of the crowd fading into nothing more than a distant memory. Instead in its place came the rampant beat of his thrilled heart. Up ahead he could see the large letter H demanding the location he was suppose to enter to find his opponent. 

As Xander rounder the corner and entered the H lettered section he took his time in observing his surroundings. The walls were the same brick built creme color that he had been surrounding him when he first entered. The only difference was the large square that had been laid out specifically for this fight. It was then Xander's ears picked up the light movements of an approaching challenger. With a sneaky grin Xander cracked his knuckles ready for the fight of his life.

However once his opponent entered the square he felt his body tense up. In front of him was no other than the Gala he had spent the entire pre-pre-games talking with. Deep within his mind Xander could swear he could hear a part of him begging him not to attack her. However how could he not, he had such a big title to live up to. He had no other way...

Calmly he spoke to her even though his heart was racing like a hovercraft. "Well I guess fate as tagged the two most worthy competors together. Good luck Gala, I will try to be careful not to break you as bad as Mason did. I wouldn't like to see you that hurt..." With a shake of his head Xander slowly approached her with a fighting stance ready. 

With a flash Xander struck out towards her and he oddly felt pain in his chest. Why did it hurt so much to hurt her? He had beaten the shit out of plenty of kids before her. Why was she so gosh darn different from the rest? 

As his fist pulled away from Gala he saw the swell on the fat lip he had delivered her already beginning to form. So badly he wanted to apologize but he knew he couldn't. Strong careers were never sorry about their actions. Never.
