Just Don't Die
A day had dreadfully skimmed by and already Kirito found himself sick and tired of the Capitol. However lucky for him that he was going to be leaving in a few days for some kind of death riddled arena anyway. Yes that was the word lucky. Something he so obviously contained massive amounts of considering he was in these games in the first place. Wasn't that what the games were anyway? Or did training actually matter, not that he did any of it anyway.
Kirito couldn't help but laugh at the thought of his so called "training." All he had done the first day was dart pathetically from station to station all where he was by himself. Perhaps isolating himself was stupid for alliance making, but did he need one? Kirito was not found of having to lose people close to him, especially after the tragic loss of his Father. But still he should at least try to communicate, whether it be good or bad.
Just as Kirito pulled on his grey training uniform's shirt he heard the frantic thudding on his door by his escort, something melon or another. Not that Kirito really cared since he avoided all conversations that weren't exclusively with Katelyn. It wasn't that Kirito didn't dislike the man, yet he sure as hell wasn't gonna be happy with the man who dragged him here in the first place.
With a yank of the door Kirito stepped out with his head naturally trained on the floor. From what he picked up through Melon Man's yelling was that he had missed breakfast and had to go straight to training on an empty stomach. Not wanting to start a conflict with the already hyped man Kirito silently shrugged and entered the elevator with no questions asked.
With a soft ding the doors gracefully slid open and Kirito hesitantly exited from the elevators sanctuary. As usual all the other tributes were scattered all around. Some in obviously alliance groups and others just sort of drifting looking for a reason to be here just as he was. In fact a boy over at the plant station caught Kirito's solemn eye. It was odd that someone spent time at the station Kirito knew the most about. Perhaps this boy shared a common interest?
Walking quickly over to the station Kirito made sure to avoid any unnecessary eye locks or run ins with any other tributes. As of right now the fact he was even approaching this one was a little short of a miracle. Still Kirito could feel an excited tremor racing through his veins as he looked over the boy's shoulder. From what Kirito could tell the boy was having some problems, problems that he could easily help.
Taking a deep breath Kirito gently tapped Wyatt's shoulder and smiled as genuinely as he could while still avoiding eye contact, "Sorry but I couldn' help notice that ya seem to be strugglin' a bit. I could help ya if ya want meh to."
