{ i. plot }

In a large, glossy, white marble house with tall columns and neat, pretty flowerbeds, nestled in secluded wealthy neighborhood in District Four, lives the Whiterose family. They are old, but not very well known, as they prefer to keep to themselves. They are a very flawed family, each of the children carrying their own particularly nasty trait that could end up being their downfall.

The parents, Sabrina and Brandon Whiterose, are not exactly perfect, either. Perhaps they are the reason their children turned out the horrible way they did. Brandon is a cheating, lying husband and an emotionally abusive father, while Sabrina is a drunk and physically abusive towards her children. Only two children evaded abuse, simply because they were the favorite: Aisling/Sanja and Reyes, who grew up spoiled, never having to do chores or endure any torture. The others were left to fend for themselves.

Aiden escapes by running away to the world of romance, but never finds true love. Emerald grew dangerously envious of her brat little sister and her arrogant brother, and always finds herself jealous of others who have more than her. Reyes became too confident in his many achievements and great intelligence, which was always treasured by his parents. Storm continues to plot her revenge on her parents, her anger nearly consuming her, a dangerous hurricane waiting to tip over the edge. Aisling/Sanja sleeps or plays games all day, never once worrying or caring of the broken, dark world around her that invades her own home. Beatrice, afraid of her parents starving her again or taking away her belongings or separating her from her friends just to spite her, is a thief and steals everything, from food to friends to toys. And Jasper is swallowed by his greed, dreaming of the overly perfect life, yearning for more power, money, friends . . . everything. He has money, he is popular, he has some power, but it is never enough.

You know what they say: all roses have thorns. But this family has far more thorns than normal roses. (If you have read this far, put "there's no shame in being thorny ;)" in the other section of your form.

(Also note that Aiden, Jasper, and Reyes are a set of fraternal triplets.)

{ ii. face claims }

My character, Storm has wavy dirty blonde hair, medium skin, and dark blue eyes. I imagine that the father is brunette with blue eyes and the mother is blonde with brown eyes. So that means that there is a wide range of appearances.

So, your character can have dark, medium brown, light brown, dirty blonde, medium blonde, or light blonde hair. And for the eyes, pretty much any color--blue, green, hazel, brown, whatever.

Just as long as there are no unusual appearances. It wouldn't make sense for there to be a random redhead, or a child with very dark skin when everyone else in the family has light to medium skin. If you read to here, put "Roses are red, I'm pretty sure violets are purple, this family's insane, and so are you" in the other section of your form.

{ iii. the characters }

LUST ;; Aiden Whiterose | 15 | M | Played by Rachel
Aiden is that boy that when you meet him, he will introduce himself and lend you his hand to shake. He seems well mannered, almost a gentleman of sorts. But really, it's all a part of his underlying scheme to get in your pants. He is often manipulative and he uses others to get what he wants, which most of the time includes sexual acts. He wasn’t always so addicted to having that intimate attention, at one point he wanted real love, someone who actually understood him.

After years of trying, even though he is still young, Aiden is convinced that there isn't such a thing as love and that it doesn't exist. His mother, being caught up in many children and other problems, was never able to give Aiden the love that he deserved as a child. His two brothers often competed for the top spot in their parents minds, both craving attention like food.

Aiden was the most soft-spoken one, the one who's words weren't as harsh as his brothers were. Even so, he wasn't hardly ever told "I love you" as a kid, and he never had bonding time with any of his parents and even brothers. He isn't particularly close to any of his siblings, feeling like they overshadow him and almost resenting them for it. When the loneliness grew to be too overwhelming, Aiden went on a quest to find something deeper. He found sex, lots and lots of sex. It filled his mind and made him feel something for once, an emotion other than loneliness and sadness, lust.

ENVY ;; Emerald Whiterose | 16 | F | Played by Dars

Yes, Emerald is an envious person, but not because she is spoiled and always craves more. No, Emerald's envy stems from the fact that she has never been afforded anything, and she has been forced to watch everyone around her have it all. But she is more than her envy. She is a girl with no confidence. A girl with an extraordinary gift in painting, but who can't bring herself to show anyone her work because she just knows deep within that they'll have something better. Emerald is a girl that doesn't know what it's like to be happy, but a girl who wants to learn how to be. Emerald is a girl with the potential to be great with some development, she just needs the time to prove it.

Her name says it all. She is a storm, dark and swirling and rumbling with rage and crackling with sharp bursts of deadly lightning. Storm holds a dagger behind her back, always waiting in the shadows for her vengeance, which leaves a sweet taste in her mouth but a bitter scar on her target's life. She holds grudges close to her heart and tallies scores in her mind, tainted with the belief that retribution is justice, that she is balancing the scales. In Storm's world of "justice," there will never be tranquility or bliss until the score is settled, quite a twisted perspective that nearly consumes her.
