Abel MacLaren crossing your heart and hoping I know what some of the sponsored items are for, even though no one told me what they are. Like one of the bottles was filled with a liquid that was slippery, and I imediately begin upon thinking of what to use with it. And almost imediately, I latch onto a thought. Apply it to the ladders, make them hard to climb down. And, while everyone else in our alliance is sitting down, relaxing after fighting those giant rats, I mutter my goodbye, and wander back out the way we came, my weapon gripped in my hand. I don't want to meet some more vile creatures, like the ones that we destroyed. And then, in the light of outside, I see the ladder, and I smile. Time to go back to something I know, something that the Gamemakers seemed to like. Well, they must of liked it, giving me a nine, when others, also skilled got lower. And getting the liquid out of the bottle, I apply it to the rungs of the ladder, and climb down carefully. I don't want to hurt myself, after all. Fall for my own trap, and everything else. I'd never hear the end of that, if I did it back home. But, trying to get back to where Geo and Gabi were, I get lost. And then, I would've shouted to myself, if I wasn't afraid of some other thing coming and ripping my flesh off me. And in my flurrying, I notice another ladder, and do the exact same thing. There's no point leaving some of the ladders clear, really, is there? And the problem with the sewers comes to mind. Every damn thing looks the same. All the walls the same colour and shape, nothing defining to show my way. And the darkness means that even my eyes are blind, and only my ears are there to guide my way. And, not believing my luck, I see another ladder, and apply that liquid again. I know that almost everyone going to the sewers have to face this, no matter how hard they try. And I don't know how that feels. People could die getting down into the sewers, all from something I learnt just to make pranks for my friends. And, on the way back to everyone, in the last possible direction possible in the sewers, I remember some other stuff in my bag. Rope, lighter fluid and a jar. Repeating what I did in the Training Session, at least, how well it's going to be in pure darkness. I fill the jar with lighter fluid, and feed the rope through the lid. Using the rope, I attach the jar to the ceiling upside down, using a metal pipe, and a knot to keep it there. Then, with the remaining rope, I make a tuaut ankle tripwire, and hopefully, someone will get covered in the lighter fluid. And whoever that is, don't use or get near fire. Because that wouldn't be a nice scene, would it? And, as I carry on in the direction where I think Geo and Gabi, and the boy from One are, I hear words, echoing through, and I head towards them. Hopefully, they missed me. If they haven't, well, I don't blame them. They have to worry about themselves enough, without thinking of me. And when I get within leaping distance I called out, "Anything interesting happened?" And before I forget, I reach into my bag, and get out the water jug, still painfully empty. And, leaning down into the water around my ankles, I take as much water as it'll hold.
