For the first time ever, the Tutors are pleased to announce the creation of IC TUTORING
What is it?
IC Tutoring stands for In-Character Tutoring. Tutors will use their original characters and thread with your original characters in a District of your choice while simultaneously tutoring you. It will play out like a regular thread, blitz-style. At the end of each Tutor post, they will post a brief list of the strengths and areas of improvement you have demonstrated. You should build upon these suggestions as you continue with your thread. At the conclusion of the thread, you will be given a longer list and further suggestions--perhaps to check out a guide, thread with certain Tutors, or to thread with a particular character more.
What are the benefits?
IC Tutoring allows hands-on experience and should be faster than a typical tutoring thread. You will be given the opportunity to improve both your writing and your characters.
How else does it differ from traditional Tutoring?
In traditional tutoring, you tend to receive longer posts in which you get detailed feedback and exercises. The actual feedback might seem shorter in IC tutoring, but the entire thread is an exercise designed to help you improve.
How long should a typical thread be?
A typical IC Tutoring thread should be about a page long (15 posts), but, at the discretion of your tutor, you may post less or more depending on how well-prepared you feel.
