So the idea of a gigantic meetup has been suggested before, but finally we are actually going ahead with it!

Whether you have no interest or are completely ecstatic about the idea, I would kindly urge you to vote. The more accurate of a representation this poll provides, the better able we are to make our plans. This poll attached to the thread is simply about interest. Here is a link for the poll about places where people live and rooming conditions so that we can start estimating costs.

Once again, please vote no matter what your sentiment is, and if you have questions or suggestions feel free to post them below and someone (Myself, Kay, Thundy, or Death) will attempt to answer them.

There is a slack channel dedicated to this meet up, where you can discuss with us or ask your questions there.

Hey everyone! So we're finally starting to get a few ideas rolling about activities and potential months for this meet up. If you are interested, and think you at least may be able to go, please fill out the form I have linked in the post above. The more interest we get, the better able we are to plan. As well, the more people we have means the better chance for a deal. So please, please, fill out that form. As well, if you haven't answered the poll above, if would be fantastic if you could.

Finally, there is a second form that I would love if you could fill out. Click here to fill in date and activity suggestions. Please keep in mind that this is to be happening in Summer 2016 (so next year).

Me again, yep I know another update already. Well, I just wanted to nudge a few people to see if we can get some more input in here!

MAJOR UPDATE!!!

We are getting incredibly close to deciding exact dates and the exact location! As well, activities and the layout of the meetup are going to be put into order once the dates and location are set.

Current choice of dates:
The week of Wednesday the 7th - Tuesday the 13th of July.
The week of Wednesday the 14th - Tuesday the 20th of July.

Current choice of locations:
Dallas, Texas, USA
Austin, Texas, USA
San Antonio, Texas, USA

Please do not reply to this thread. Instead, I will provide a link to the necessary forms in order to attend and in order to vote on dates, location, and activities.

Okay, this should be one of the final updates I will be posting.

I have just created an RSVP thread [ here ] that I everyone tagged in should reply to.

As well, the final dates and the location have been determined.

DATES: Thursday, July 14th to Sunday, July 17th in the summer of 2016.
LOCATION: San Antonio, Texas

A budget will eventually be figured out and the result will be edited into this post and the RSVP thread. Any and all information related to this event will be announced in the channel (#meetup-of-a-lifetime) on slack.
