The Krigels
The family name is Krigel, and he wanted it to spread as far as it can reach.
At forty-two, Coen Krigel is still the same man with the same deranged ambition he's had since he was sixteen and lost his family to an accident that spared only he and his brother. "The forgotten ones," he called them both, and while it made Tomas laugh, Coen felt the phrase as deeply as he feels the empty spaces that his late family left behind.
Life, he discovered, is easy when one wasn't coughing in the dust of the running pack ahead. With just the two of them left, they were forgotten as easily as one would forget a rusting boat loosely tethered to the dock. Except Coen Krigel was no boat, and he cut himself free.
It's harder to be forgotten when you made yourself memorable.
Serah is his wife, a woman equally as ambitious as he - though, he found, not in the same way he wanted her to be. Her methods were... crude, but workable, he supposed. Wanting a Victor child was nothing to laugh at, not when in a Career district the desire is practically tangible. He loved her for her drive, but hated her for her possessiveness.
Coen made himself a memory in Serah's eyes in the form of Blaise, Arissa and Michel Krigel, and left her broken-hearted in the dust.
He made himself a memory to everyone he met.
And left them in the dust.
For as far as Panem knows, there are only four in the family of Krigel. But they're only skin deep as far as Coen is concerned - his children may not necessarily hold his name, but each of them have a touch of his features, just enough to remind the world that Coen Krigel is still alive.
He's alive, and he's not ready to be forgotten.
Hey--
Welcome to begin again, the D4 Krigel family plot. If you don't know who the Krigels are, I honestly don't blame you. However, if you've followed the Games, then you probably do know who they are. Leon Krigel participated in the 67th Games, and Nat Krigel was in the 70th. Arissa Krigel, played by @fabulousraven, is Leon's twin and Nat's older sister.
The purpose of this plot is to give all of you a chance to Krigel with me, as well as do a ton of feelsy-lulzy things, because why not. It's also to commemorate Nat Krigel, aka Nearly Headless Nat.
So how will your Krigel relate to the three Krigels already in existence?
If you'd like a Krigel, there are options for you:
1) Coen Krigel's child. Keep in mind that if you make Coen's child, the Krigel you make will not be a full sibling to Arissa/Leon/Nat. This would be outside Serah's family's knowledge.
2) Tomas Krigel's child. Tomas Krigel is Coen's younger brother, which would make his children cousins to Leon/Arissa/Nat. They aren't very close, because Tomas and Coen had a falling out soon after Coen met Serah.
3) Serah Krigel, Coen Krigel, Tomas Krigel. If you'd much rather play an older character, these three are up for grabs as well. However, if no one would like to play them, they'll remain NPCs.
So... yeah. Besides the ones that are taken (below), I'm looking for between three-four more Krigels in the family. This isn't a first-come, first-served plot - so good luck!
Thank you for reading!

status: alive He was reaped at the age of seventeen. Maybe it's funny to start his life from the day his name was passed for its owner's head to be placed upon the guillotine, but Blaise Krigel died the moment Leon placed his knife to his own throat, and his life starts from when he took that first breath after a thin line of red marks his skin. Not everyone sees him that way. He still wears the same face he wore the minute he was reaped, so he must be the same person, even when he doesn't feel that way. But because it's expected of him, he tries to play the same role he's been given all his life. It's not really working for him anymore. To others, maybe, he's still something of a plaything - and it's a constant power struggle between him and the reaching hands of Capitolites that he's losing fast. But even when he's stripped bare before their eyes he's never vulnerable - he's still fighting. Maybe they think otherwise, and maybe it's the only upper hand he'll ever get in this battle. If it is, he'll use it for all it's worth. There have only been three people who've seen him at his most vulnerable. Finnegan Hood is his significant other, and the hand he most often reaches for when he's falling. He finds comfort in his twin sister, Arissa Krigel, and with the knowledge of her stability she is the only thing that stops his slipping. And his little brother is Nat, Nat Krigel, who is dead. It gets a little harder to live around here.
status: dead Second. He's been number two behind Leon and Arissa both his entire life, the successes of his siblings drawing a bridge he refuses to cross before him. He's second in his mother's eyes, when the twins are first - first to meet his father, first to see him leave, first to master an art of war. First to display talents that Nat can't find on his own, first to everything. He's just the second, the knock-off of greater siblings before him. Arissa with her subtle brutality may never have tested her skills in the arena, but she would certainly have won alongside Leon. They would've been victors together, had she been reaped. Nat, on the other hand, is not. But maybe he's come to accept that - slowly, carefully, looking up to still-greater people in Elya Johnwayne, in Circe Lyon, in Orion Hammerfell, in Gunner La Torre. Maybe if he knew her before, she would have made him first in his own field, whatever it would have been; the knot had been tied, intricately, around their necks as they stand side by side with their fronts and backs bared to the world. He was the first to lose his breath, but it's okay. It's okay.
status: alive Arissa Krigel. Blurb here.
status: alive Mhysa is polite and well-spoken, but filled with quiet determination. She walks a careful line between the naivete her last name has afforded her and entitlement; she cannot help but be condescending. She has a strange goofy strike that doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the Krigels; she does her best to hide it from all but her twin brother. Mhysa has a very intuitive intelligence, reading emotions as well as dissecting the words that fall from people's lips. Child of Coen Krigel. Twin of Jorah Krigel.
status: alive Jorah is a moral person who does his best to be honorable, but has done and will do several immoral things for those he loves and survival of his own well being. Cold, Stoic, and generally not social, Jorah has the tendency to warm up to people that he gets to know. Child of Coen Krigel. Twin of Mhysa Krigel.
status: alive Nike Krigel Blurb here. Half-sibling to Nat/Leon/Arissa Krigel. Child of Coen Krigel.
status: alive Scout thrives and self-destructs with the fame of the Krigel name in equal parts, stealing the world for herself with a smile only to discover that the weight of it might slowly be crushing her. A sweet-faced cliche of careless teenage beauty, she's used to being given everything she wants and is only beginning to realize that one of these days people are going to begin asking her for something in return. Although she wasn't any closer with Nat than her other cousins, the undeniable reality of his death has become her worst fear. She won't admit to having nightmares about his decapitation becoming her own, but the only people she dares to call friends now are fellow family members of fallen tributes and they know what kinds of thoughts come for her in the dark, whether or not she confesses anything aloud. For three years she grew used to being a victorious celebrity and although the shock of the flip-side to that life has caused her to take a step back, the spotlight insists on following her into the shadows. There's no hiding behind the notebooks she doodles in or the smoke screen of her brother, but she doesn't know what else to shield herself with. She's a Krigel, but she's not a fighter. Survival is something she's used to being given and if the day comes when she's forced to earn it for herself, she knows she won't be able to. Daughter of Tomas Krigel. Cousin to Leon/Arissa/Nat Krigel.
status: alive Victarion Krigel Blurb here. Child of Coen Krigel.
status: alive She is confidence defined, the immovable mountain shrouded in fog. But despite her strength she doesn't loom, doesn't cast a shadow; she leaves no footprints in her wake, nor signs of her path. In the shower of her strength she gives nothing but in little gestures, like the tilt of her head, or the lift of her chin, or momentary touch of skin. Her name is Isobel, but they call her Iso. Half-sibling to Nat/Arissa/Leon Krigel. Child of Coen Krigel.
status: alive He radiates happiness like the sun on silver sand, the light of his smile flickering from the rise of the ocean. But he's not innocent, no, not with a quick and dirty tongue, or with a head full of smoke. Happiness may well be the one truth about him. Full sibling to Dakota Krigel. Child of Tomas Krigel.
status: alive Ze is everything that comes with sitting in a garden with the sound of running water, or lying on the grass with the sun on your skin. There seems to be no darkness in zir's life. If ze has secrets, ze keeps them well. Full sibling to Declan Krigel. Child of Tomas Krigel.
